One must remember virus's mutate. The original strain that appeared in Wuhan China was extremely deadly and may have killed over a million people. But it was running amok 2 months before we even heard about it in the west. By the time it spread to the rest of the world. There was no less than 6 mutations that took place. By the Grace of God we in North America got a way less lethal variant of the Virus. Had we gotten the version that first appeared in Wuhan. Our death toll would have been horrifically high.

See, this kind of stuff makes me think that killing a cop can be a good idea. If you are fast enough, you get to finish your picnic, and the bobbys have two thugs fewer to aim at actual citizens. They are cowards and bullies. If they think they will risk their lifes everytime they try to intimidate a british citizen, they'd prefer to run a rain-check and ignore their enemies.

Time was when the British police were respected by the common people. They did not need to carry weapons. But that seems to have gone away with the modern technocratic state, that acts like an occupying foreign power towards the citizens.
Exactly! No police force should be allowed to act like they are an occupying force, and the current regime of Britain is not going to change anytime soon. Unless the tories get their ranks purged of wannabe Big Brothers, the trend will unfortunately continue.

So it seems CO hospitals are hiding the case and bed count numbers, with some hospitals not even updating their daily data as required. The health authorities are hiding behind 'HIPAA' concerns as to why they are not releasing info.
I'm wondering if the numbers are so low that they are hiding them to keep the pressure on for lockdowns, social distancing, and masks? Because I doubt they'd be able to hide high numbers of ICU admissions for very long, but could hide things the other way for a while.

Haven't watched "Escape From New York" but I don't think Cuomo can force people to stay inside New York or could build walls to keep people in
