I just made myself known in this matter. Abbott is wrong in his decision here. He can make it, but I have no idea why he actually wants to make this decision. It's a dumb choice to back Gonzalez here.

Herrera is actually someone who supports the people.
He doesn't even WANT to be a politican and only plans to run once maybe twice and then done.

My take on it is Abbott is actually fairly establishment. But his state is becoming increasingly populist because of the border situation so he acts populist a lot of the time but will do establishment things when he feels it neccesary.

Kemp is the same way. He is doing goof for his state but his federal stuff would be more establishment.
