I wish I could parse the cyrillic alphabet ...
Buhanka-tan: FInally got to Kiev.
Grad or Buratino-chan: Thanks Buhanka-tan we got it from here.

Ukraine holds a gun round on which "for all good children" is written.
Behind her is part of the monument at what is called the Alley of angels in Donbass, that is dedicated to all the murdered children there.

The one with the pill just says take the pill.

Thank you.

No, I wouldn't know firsthand. A quick search says 33lbs.

My trench coat probably weighs 6-7lbs all by itself.

EDIT: I just weighed it (8lbs) and my engineering field kit (46lbs).
I mean the actual outfits as well.
You have to account fir the outfit, the gear and everything caked in water and mud and cold.

Not fun.

All of you saying it is not bad has not been in the same situation as these have, Luke I have been personally. Hwat and cold.

I'm pretty sure you've never been in a boiler room where touching something uninsulated means 911 gets called.

Been there, done that. That's hot.

A pyrrhic victory refers to winning a battle, but taking such heavy loses in doing so you might as well have lost. It does not refer to winning extremely one sided engagements in the field and then the war being ended because a political decision was reached to stop.

Except the the Taliban and NVA had militarily ejected the US from the field and held territory they had not been cleared from and got what they wanted in the Peace Treaties they signed. The US got nothing but the right to leave unmolested.

The Soviet Union in Afghanistan drove the Mujahidin into Pakistan and destroyed Ahmad Shah's Army in the Panjshir, driving him out of the nation. Then they signed the Geneva treaty and the DRA crushed the Mujahidin in the Battle of Jalalabad so completely that they did not come back till the Soviets collapsed. Even then it took bribery and 2 years of fighting before the DRA fell.

Fact of the matter is the US was militarily defeated, no ands, ifs, or buts. It failed to drive the Taliban out and secure the borders, and failed to build up a capable Afghan Partner that would stop shitting its pants and fight it out. They couldn't even hold out till we left.

Have you been in what would be nice temperatures but in soaking wet clothes you have changed for days while carrying more then just your kit. Like your ruck, your weapon, while not able to stop?

I'm pretty sure we're wading into a "my dick is bigger than yours" contest that's going to get slapped by a mod if we continue, so I'll bow out of the contest *looks at watch* now.

I am just saying how you are going "It's not that cold" and never having been in said situation. While I was explaining why the situation they are in is worse then you and Agent keep thinking.

Not only that, but Serbian Airforce survived intact and conducted 300 sorties in support of its ground troops. The Ground Forces were barely touched by the bombings. And the Serbian Airforce inflicted massive virtual attrition on the NATO forces, causing most pilots to dump ordinance and evade. Also the Serbians shot down a lot of NATO drones as well.

So take everything you just said and apply it to the Ukrainian air force.

The audit of Oryx's work continues by an actual US Combat Veteran who didn't drink the Kool-Aid.

Ah yes, a US soldier, who is not corrupt and pro-US like the [checks notes] ... Turk?

Yet the Russians keep up massive artillery barrages and troop movements on all fronts engaged.

Actually not sure how Putin sold Russians on the whole "We are removing Nazi's from power" thing considering how large Russia's own neo nazi groups are never mind the openly fascist LDPR.

Um, those are usually used as ambulances.

An olive drab ambulance with military identification marking but no red cross or medical markings? That seems like a good way to turned wounded soldiers into dead ones.

Do people actually feel exciment watching those drawings ?

They make me raise an eyebrow as much as the purpose of erotic fiction.

I wouldn't say excitement, but I like some of them. I wouldn't say it's erotic either, it's definitely toward the more titillating end of the "Sexy vs Cute" spectrum, but not to that degree.

Why is Russia saying they pulling back from Kiev? I thought they were on the ropes and any day now they would be captured
Because that was not the point after the initial cavalry charge failed the collapse the Ukrainian will to resist. It was about pinning Ukrainian forces west of the Dnieper so they could use airpower to neutralize the Ukrainian CiC, munitions depots, and fuel as well as set up the encirclement of the Donbass. Zelensky was screaming about the no-fly zone for a reason. With Mariupol mostly conquered and the last few die hards getting rubbed out now the focus shifts to completing the Donbass pocket and destruction of the bulk of the best of the Ukrainian army. The capture of Izyum is the beginning of the end and with the fuel reserves of the UkA largely gone as well as the muddy season beginning there is no fear of Ukrainian reserves from the west coming to the rescue in the Donbass. There is now no point in continuing to hold the area west of Kiev, so they're pulling out units to redeploy to finish things up in the east. That's why of the 200,000 or so Russians committed only 40k were used around Kiev and the majority seem to have been conscripts with a few notable exceptions.

We'll see in the next couple of weeks how things play out.

That reads a lot like cope considering how much effort was expending at trying to encircle Kyiv and how one of the stated goals of the war was to remove Zelinsky from power
Where did the Russians ever say that? Given that only a small fraction of the forces they committed were in the Kiev area and the bulk has been east of the Dnieper, especially in the south, your claim doesn't pass the smell test.

Scott Ritter's entire life for the past twenty five years has been coping with his many mistakes through life. It only famously started with his flawed analysis in the leadup to Operation Desert Fox in the Clinton years and somehow amazingly didn't peak there.

The guys about as reliable and qualified as a military commentator as your average ex-Marine Trans Spacebattler (only Scott Ritter is an actual gaslighting child predator instead of being stereotyped as one). :p
