Let us hope that this living in interesting times luck applies to the wand effect results. The literal first roll of the party is a nat 1. Let that be known for party luck.

Isn't casting a standard action? They should only each fire once I would think. To be clear how many darts are you sending at the leader cad?
Magic missile base level produces 3 force darts that can be individually directed at any target you want within sight and range.Isn't casting a standard action? They should only each fire once I would think.
Ah, I see.Magic missile base level produces 3 force darts that can be individually directed at any target you want within sight and range.
He's only using it at the base level for now. Three darts, all directed at one person, for now. Not that he knows that you can "overcharge" the spell at this point. To be clear how many darts are you sending at the leader cad?
The former.Wait, so are these wands casting random effects on top of magic missile's three darts of force damage, or do the darts just do the effects without the damage?
Oh. I thought they were just casting random effects without doing anything else. The former.
Per cast. Effects are tied to the wand itself. Each wand has its own unique effect that sticks with that wand. IE, you find a wand that makes it so the target sprouts a vultures wing from his back, it will always do that, one wing per dart though three darts and one target would still produce one wing. I'm keeping track of every wand and effect, and if there is one you like or is particularly useful, you should keep track as well. Remember, part of the task is to catalogue effects.Oh. I thought they were just casting random effects without doing anything else.
Edit: and is that one effect per bolt or just one effect per cast?
wh... huh?one wing per dart though three darts and one cast would still produce one wing.
Corrected it. The effect is target grows wing. If there are three targets, the max of a cast of magic missile level 1, each grows a wing, if there is one target, the effects would not triple. There would be one grown for each separate cast of that wand. Ie, if you hit the guy over 9 rounds, he would be very bloody and have 9 wings, regardless of how many darts he was hit by. Basically, you can only stack effects on a single target if he is hit by multiple casts, not multiple darts. Does that make more sense?wh... huh?
One wing per dart... one wing per cast... three dart per cast... Huh?
Got it.@GravitysMomentum its not possible to just cast the effect, you need to pick a target and hit them with magic missile.
@Hlaalu Agent @GravitysMomentum posts from each of you and we can get the show on the road.
No worries.Got it. Sorry, just got up, bad sleep schedule.
Spent? You only used it twice right?Looks like me and Theo got the most visible effects for our wands. Shame mine's spent.
I guess swap out to a different wand or keep going for the unimpressive ones. :V
