I think there’s a relatively recent thing about how women in armor are supposed to be indistinguishable from males in armor

Speaking of realism, I’m reminded of how I once posted a Dark Souls III Knight Armor pic

Some guy went on about how unrealistic and impractical the design was, because “fashion souls” isn’t about function

It wasn’t one of the cooler decorated, specially carved and even fat ones

Still, is there a reason for there not to be a power armor covered arm? Sure there’s the grappling chain hook, but protection and enhancing strength

Actually Boob Armour is quite realistic, Shadiversity has a bit on it.



From what I remember, he says that it really isn't that ridiculous. It is just the sort of ornamentation that women's armour might have in real life. Sort of like the ornamentation that men's armour had.

For ceremonial armor it works. But for actual service boob armour like that is inpractical and sort of shot trap, where cold steel weapons can transfer the full energy of the blow/thrust. A singular bulge without dangerous corners is much better.
But since this fiction we are talking about the rule of cool/lewd trumps all.
