The Spy x Family anime's first episode is fire. Gonna check out the dub on Friday, when it streams on Twitch. If the dub's good/great, then this show and manga are going to blow up big time.
I read manga on mangareader.Till now,it is insane, but very good. The Spy x Family anime's first episode is fire. Gonna check out the dub on Friday, when it streams on Twitch. If the dub's good/great, then this show and manga are going to blow up big time.
Haven't seen any of the anime, but having stumbled upon the manga just before Easter, I can echo this sentiment for it. I'd heard about it a little beforehand, but had kind of dismissed it when I read the premise, which has the 'sounds promising but I doubt it'd pulled off well' vibe to it..Except it very much does pull it off well. Author does a good blend of humor, intrigue, heartwarming, and pretty gruesome violence that occasionally peeks into some deeper sentiments with characters thoughts or actions. The dub for Spy x Family is pretty damn good, so that's great. I definitely put this on the list of "anime for non-anime people."
What country are you in? If it's the United States or Canada, then RightStuf is an option. You can also try Wal-Mart's site.snip
mangakakalot.com.62 chapters,i think.Haven't been able to find the Manga. The first three chapters are available at Mangadex, but the only other place I know to get it is buying physical copies from Amazon.
Andybody got a Sietch-friendly source?
Not to derail too much (maybe PM me answers so we don't derail here?) What's a good anime to watch if I just want to get away from American woke bullshit? I Want a good, deep story, and not a kid's show.
I've always liked everything Dragon Ball. And I like the Armitage Polymatrix series but haven't really ventured into anime beyond that.

Moving to this thread to stop the derail...My bad.
Was tired when I posted this, so must've been thinking of the really short, clip-length fan-dubs I've seen on YouTube every so often. (Which, and you've pointed out why, is a whole different story from dubbing whole episodes, though I hope that's possible to do cheaply and conveniently someday.) Whoops.
I haven't been able to get to a con in years. Last I was able to get to was TusCon in Tucson and that was a more general con. Would not mind getting to one to be honest, but summer is busy for me.Anyone going to Anime Central coming up pretty quick here?
Anyone have any other cons that they like going to?
