Out of all the things she tweeted that's what got her shitcanned? Depending on her contract details (I doubt she was fired so much as just not rehired) she should hire a lawyer, preferably a Jewish one, to ask Disney what was controversial about that statement?
Don't obsess over it. We all have bills to pay, mouths to feed, and personal issues to rectify. Focus on that and when you can do something, like campaign to sack a RINO or spend boring hours video taping Democratic poll workers, do so. Avoid brands you know are woke when you can and back companies brave enough to stand out. Obviously you can't avoid all of them, but disciplined non-consumerism will eventually sap their strength if repeated often enough. This too will pass and even if it doesn't there are things bigger than politics.I don't know what to think or how to feel anymore.
She was also dropped by her agency, which means it will be a lot harder for her to get a job.I have to point out that this isn't actually firing her. Mandalorian Season 2 is done with, and all of next year's shows aren't filming yet. So she is not actually hired for any active project; there's nothing to fire her *from*.
As to the actual substance of her controversial statements, she is absolutely correct in pointing out tht Nazi involved fomenting hate from ordinary citizens; the idea that only high ranking Nazi officials were part of it is dangerous historical revisionism. I would however point out that this historical revisionism comes from the victorious Allies' desire to rehabilitate Germany as an ally against the Soviet threat.
However, *expressing strong, angry disagreement with her political views* is not in any way comparable to *hating Jews for being Jewish*. Claiming that she's "being oppressed" by other people's hostile opinions is the exact same chorus that the extreme left sings, and it sounds no better coming from Carano as from any screeching radical feminist.

The lesson here is that right of center celebrities need to hire a social media manager or get the fuck off twitter.

That's splitting hairs. Her Talent agency dropped her and Disney, even if they didn't technically fire her, is demeaning her character and putting as much distance between her and them as they can.
Those screeching radical feminists still have a job, unlike Carano, so that gives her a bit more credibility. And the issue her isn't that "people disagreed with her, loudly". You're allowed to disagree with public figures. The issue is that her detractors decided to form a mob and campaign for her to be fired, applying, as Husky noted, a transparent double standard in what comments are totally unacceptable and what aren't (and that they did so using a dishonest mischaracterization of her as well).
As for the actual substance of what she said, it seems broadly accurate, and even her detractors actually agree with her on that. Remember when the "calling liberals NPCs" meme was the big meme running around thing? I recall lots of comments from leftists (idiot leftists, granted) freaking out over it and going into hysterics about being dehumanized and "this how genocides start" and so on. All she did was apply that logic to the other side of the political spectrum.
For reference, this is apparently what got her fired:
Geez that's almost as bad as this tweet.
The bottom picture is actually from boys waiting for food aid at a Palestinian Soup Kitchen in 2010 as well... but who cares at this point right?
