You forgot the lady who detonated a bomb in the capital building, in an attempt to kill republicans, who was latter pardoned by Bill Clinton, and who now consults/works for BLM.
That's been going around Facebook lately, and it's only partially accurate. The person they're talking about was Susan Rosenberg, a member of the self-styled "May 19th Communist Organization", a feminist Communist organization with ties to the Black Liberation Army movement. In fact agree that she's a traitor and a domestic terrorist, but let the facts speak for themselves:
Rosenberg charged but not prosecuted for the 1983 Capitol bombing, because while there was plenty of evidence that she was part of the self-styled "Resistance Community" militant faction of M19 which openly took credit for that bombing, the evidence pointing to
her specifically was weak. This did not mean that she got away with it; a total of six members were caught, and ultimately federal prosecutors chose to offer a group plea bargain where the three who were directly involved pled guilty in return for charges being dropped against the other three -- however, two of those not charged, including Rosenberg, were
already in prison anyway for prior crimes, and a recent SCOTUS decision on double jeopardy made prosecuting them a relatively shaky prospect.
Rosenberg, specifically, was serving a massive 58-year sentence for possession of over 750 pounds of explosives, which is
sixteen times the typical sentence for this offense. Basically, that related case reached trial first, and the judge absolutely threw the book at her for the explosives possession because of her known involvement with *all* the Resistance Community terrorist attacks.
As to President Clinton's involvement, he
didn't pardon her; he only commuted the sentence in 2001, which means she still served a very substantial 17 years *and* she's still a convicted felon with all the loss of rights that attach to that. Did he let her out of prison? Yes, but the difference between pardoning and commuting is
huge. She's still a convicted terrorist, and *no one* ever said she was innocent, only that the sentence was excessive for the crime she was actually convicted of.
As for consulting/working for BLM, that's accurate but indirect. She was on the board of directors of "Thousand Currents", a nonprofit that supports a wide variety of grassroots movements; it's basically a glorified temp agency crossed with a nonprofit, providing free ""administrative and back-office support" for partner groups. The "Black Matter Lives Global Network" was such a partner group from 2016 to 2020, but Thousand Currents subsequently dropped them as part of a brand refocus on exclusively supporting overseas groups.
