News of the Amused

I'd prefer an honest, plainly labelled mushroom burger, to any of the other 'meat substitutes' out there. With white caps/portabella/shitakes/morels you don't need to worry about estrogen or other hormonal shit.

Carl Jr.'s/Hardees does have the Beyond Burgers and it tasted better than the Impossible Whopper from when I tried it once. Apparently it was successful and it's still on their menu from my recent visit to my local Hardees. I'm guessing it's just McDonald's usual crappy quality that caused their version to fail.

I find it amusing though that everyone is screaming SOY! at a veggie meat company whose fake meat isn't made from soy (from what I recall, it's made from mung and fava beans with coconut oil for the fat).
Whopper is burger King, not McDonald's

I was referring to the McPlant when mentioning the failed McD product, which is what was mentioned as the failure in the article in Husky's post. My mention of the Impossible Whopper was in response to Husky referring to its success. I was comparing the Impossible Whopper to the Carl Jr.'s/Hardee's Beyond Burger.

GM is pretty much government motors anyway, and they're the biggest target for the money anyway...all those union people have to get taken care of. Ford may not have been bailed out, but they have oodles of union money to pay for.

PLUS it ensures that we still pass a lot of money to China for manufacturing of said electric components.

An Australian woman asked Crypto.com for a $100 AUD refund ($68 US Dollars) and received $7.2 million USD by mistake when a Crypto.com Employee apparently placed her account number in the payment field. Nobly, the Woman kept the money in a bank account as it took Crypto.com SEVEN MONTHS to realize the error. When they realized it, they got a court to freeze her bank account even as she was transferring money to other banks, only to have those accounts frozen as well.

She also bought a $890,000 house and put it in her sisters name. But that too was ordered to be sold by the court as part of the payback so the funds could be returned to Crypto.com with interest.

Why do they never realize that the money will be found.
Idiots gonna idiot.

If it's not petty cash someone's going notice that it went missing and do something about it.

Petty cash is meant to cover everyday BS like "my mouse just failed" and "I need some binder clips and we're out".
