BUSH TO SEEK FULL FOUR-YEAR TERM IN 1984
*Wednesday, November 30, 1983: The headlines coming out of the Washington Post, New York Times and Los Angeles Times had been driving folks into intrigue about the upcoming 1984 Presidential election. President George HW Bush confirmed according to sources, notifying supporters that he plans on seeking a full four-year term in 1984. Running the President's campaign will be White House Chief of Staff James A. Baker, III.

DIVISIONS INSIDE DEMOCRATIC PARTY
Former US Ambassador to Canada Walter Mondale, United States Senator Gary Hart (D-CO), Arizona Governor Bruce Babbitt (D) and countless others, have been getting criticized by other candidates for not attending town hall candidate forums and debates.
In light of the shocking assassination of then-President Ronald Reagan on November 13th, the political ramifications have altered the landscape nationwide with massive pressure on 12+ candidates to drop out and unite behind one of the leading candidates.
KIRKPATRICK NOT TO RETAINED AS US AMBASSADOR TO THE UNITED NATIONS
*Thursday, December 1, 1983: Huge bombshells from the White House confirmed that US Ambassador to the United Nations Jeane Kirkpatrick won't be retained in her current position following the 1984 elections according to the Washington Post.
This move wasn't considered a surprise as Bush is determined to be his own man, not shackled by the policies and achievements of his late popular predecessor. Foreign policy analysts noted Bush plans on taking a slightly different approach to foreign policy and other key areas.
