SCOTUS Getting Shade Over Roe v Wade

Never said it was a good attempt.

BTW: "this is art" is a bullshit CYOA most juries will just laugh at and ignore.

Lol, it was as much art, as that politician holding a fake severed Trump head was art.

EDIT: Haha, the article he links to for you literally shows a photo of Kathy Griffin holding the bloody trump head, as well as another photo showing democrats/lefties "artistic" guillotine with a effigy of Trump in it.

If the left wants to complain about rightwing protestors doing "art" like this, fine, but the left should clean its own house first, glass houses and stones and all that.

"This is art" is often used as a defense by people who got caught with their hand in the cookie jar, so to speak. If it actually is art a prosecutor probably isn't going to waste everyone's time.
Yes, but they didn't get their hand stuck in a cookie jar. You have to go farther for a true threat. It didn't mention anyone specific, for one thing.

The security detail needs to be increased for all nine justices of the US Supreme Court ASAP

You could surround each of them with a plattoon of highly-trained expert bodyguards and an assassin would still be able to get through.

In 1984 Indira Ghandi was shot by two of her bodyguards. In 2016 Andrei Karlov was shot in the back by an off-duty cop while giving a speech. In 1932 Inukai Tsuyoshi was murdered by naval officers.

EDIT: In 1415 there was the Southampton Plot. That got nope'd by the 5th Earl of March when he told Henry V that several nobles would prefer King Edmund I instead. Edmund didn't want the English throne.

How about instead, politicians security can only utilize whats legal for civilians to own?
That's basically what American politicans already get.

Heck, the Swiss Mercenaries who protect the Pope aren't armed with things J. Random American can't legally buy and walk around with. It'll take a bit of rules-lawyering loophole abuse for a civvie to get permission to concealed carry something full-auto, but it is doable.

Pretty sure they can get automatic weapons a lot easier than most civilians can. Otherwise yeah, I agree with your point. Most politicians security forces aren't rolling around in tanks with predator drone overwatch.

A convicted felon prohibited from firearms with more money than sense could - in theory - legally buy a Gatling gun while out on parole.

They are considered LEOs.
They can get fully auto weapons if needed

No it isnt, the various protection details always have automatic weapons, which can't be obtained by a private citizen.

Well technically you can get an automatic weapon, just as long as you are willing to pay thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars, for all the proper paperwork and permits, have your personal life heavily scrutinized, and of course, the automatic weapon has to have been made in the year of 1989 or older or so I recall, so the best you can get after jumping through all the hoops and paying out all that cash is something about three decades behind what the government gets.
