I would love if putting some hurt on the Thalmor was a part of the main story, with or without a Skyrim alliance (though with is obviously preferable, especially if the Dragonborn manages to convince Paarthurnax that the dragons should get involved rather than stay out of mortal affairs; heck, just somebody in-game mentioning how "the Thalmor Embassy in Skyrim was burnt down by an army of dragons" would make my day).
I'm somewhat concerned about something Camelworks mentioned in another video, though: if they make the player a Redguard Sword-Singer it may limit player choices a bit too much. I mean, being the Dragonborn in Skyrim was cool and all, but I personally prefer the way they handled the player character in Oblivion, wherein you were basically a nobody without any special powers or abilities beyond what you acquired through your own choices (and the DLC). Basically, I prefer more freedom and less railroading as far as the player character's (likely role-played) origin and abilities go.
That might just be me, though,
