What If? A New Team arrives in the Star Wars Galaxy

In this scenario the ROB decides to throw a monkey wrench in Palpatine's plans to take over the Star Wars Galaxy. He selects these 3 individuals to be part of a cabal to take power for themselves. Here is the trio.

1: David Xanatos (Gargoyles). Xanatos is the brains of the operation and with the newly established Xanatos Enterprises in the Galactic Corps. He will be the chief financial and equipment backer of the group. He will also be a Senator in the Republic Senate and rival to Palpatine

2: Sephiroth (Final Fantasy 7). Sephiroth is the enforcer for the group. When a target needs to be dealt this Sephiroth is sent to make a problem go away.

3: Mystique (Marvel 616). Mystique is the teams infiltrator. She will be doing the spy work and counter intelligence for the team.

The trio are well funded. Well established and have a plausible public front. In the same way Palpatine was able to hide his true nature and intentions to the Jedi and Republic as a whole. The ROB has made it so that Palpatine, The Jedi and the Republic are blind to the true nature of the trio. The Trio will make their best effort to throw a curveball into the Clone Wars and subvert Palpatine so that he can never become Emperor. Their goal is to rule the galaxy themselves. They arrive 2 years before the start of the Clone Wars. What do they do to fubar all so Palpatine's plans? How do they deal with the Jedi? What do they do to get the Citizens of the Republic to side with them?

Special Note: The trio will not betray one another and will work together for their goals by act of ROB.

Palpy - easily done,just find method to check if somebody is force usear earlier/they had some special cells/ and propose to check everybody in Senate,starting with Xanatos.

Later...just wait till defeat accumulate,and show how to build proper army,and train proper commanders.
After victory,they would rule.
Of course,profit from new weapons,too.

Heck! Just give Xanatos access to all that Droid tech and let him go nuts. The Gargoyle line of droids will make an absolute mint, and it'll ruin many people's day.

Oh I can easily see Xanatos making and selling medical scanners that are used to test for various diseases. That just also happen to pick up Midiclorian counts. And he will make a mint doing it.

Gargoyle Droids would be a game changer in the Galaxy. They would make B1s look like Tinker Toys. For that matter most of the Trade Federation Droids.
