What happened man? :V

Well, in the instance I made this update for, it was mod harassment by a certain mod.

If you mean the current temp-ban from Current Affairs, it's bullshit because some people get their panties in twist over certain names I use for Russians who support Putin.

I am going to hazard a guess you called em Orcs? :V

I've called them orks for years now, because the Russian people and Russian nation have been shown to be orks in all but biology.

I got warned about it ONCE, a long time ago, and no one's made a fuss sense, till yesterday.

Fucking feels like someone was fishing for a reason to slap a ban down on me, and wanted to use that as the fig-leaf, given the fact I didn't even get notified what post was hit or what rule violated till I made a DM to staff.

I'm not going to stop calling Russian's orks till they stop acting like them.

Hey well, I guess I can't judge when someone has a hatred of a people. Lmao.

I tried to give Russia and Putin the benefit of the doubt for a long, long time.

But when that new bridge went up in Chernobyl just before the push for Kyiv, I could see that Russia and Putin were actually serious about this madness, and when Zelensky stayed in Kyiv instead of running like A-stan's president, it solidified my support for Ukraine.

The actions of Russian soldiers at the front, and the Russian people back home, have put that nation into a position where they do seem like orks coming out of Mordor, and nearly proud of it.

Also, nothing funny about what has happened, this is pure bullshit and trying to protect an enemy nation from insults.

Look @Bacle you need to stop this anti-Ukraine bigotry.
It's spelt "ChOrnobyl" now. D:<

Also where did the Orc meme come from?

The ork bit I saw on Twitter initially, I think it began soon after what happened in Bucha was discovered.

But it's kept up ever sense, lots of pro-UA accounts across platforms call Russian's orks on the regular, and I'd used it enough here I thought that the idea of punishing people for calling Russian's orks had fallen away in the face of what Russia has done/continues to do and how the international community looks at Russia now.

I mean just because lots of people use a term, doesn't make it tasteful. I'm certain most users on this site would be very upset if people here started using terms made on 4chan. Lmao.
But thanks for the information, I genuinely had no clue where it originated from.

4chan isn't fighting a war for survival against said orks, UA is, and after Bucha, Russian's completely deserve t be called orks and Russia treated like Mordor.

Well...They ARE fighting a war. Just a significantly more autistic and globalized one.
