And In a strange twist of fate it seems someones about to read ComStars mail. Wonder what lead to that.

    Battletech Welcome to the Jungle

Thats generally what i was thinking, the canon Hatchetman was generally considered pretty fragile to begin with yet was still fairly successful and popular with FedCom so i figured the space saved with an XL engine could be used to make it even scarier (maybe up the armor + speed for a...

    Battletech Welcome to the Jungle

Hatchetman would actually end up being even scarier if they can scrounge up some XL engines for it, the extra space could let it go even faster or maybe even wield double Hatchets if they can fit Endo Steel as well.

    Battletech Welcome to the Jungle

Honestly i never understood why Streaks are considered useless, the consistency/reliability they add really can't be underestimated. You get a lock, you get a hit. Sure it matters less for higher skilled pilots, but for rookie and more average pilots? when given a Streak SRM brawler suddenly...

    Battletech Welcome to the Jungle

Wasn't there a couple of anime character inserts shoehorned in on top of the rest of that mess? Seem to remember Yuki Nagato randomly showing up in the 2 chapters i managed to read before dropping it.

Fair enough but then shouldn't there still be information on the Core about making the Streak launchers? Rather than not having anything at all.

    Battletech Welcome to the Jungle

Just catching up on things but didn't Catachan actually have Streaks? I thought the initial cover story they used when they met Olivetti was pretending to have found a few mechs and Streak SRM2's from a lostech Cache. Figured that meant that there was a factory producing SSRM2 Ammo somewhere on...

Quest Deep Periphery Quest (Battletech Sandbox Empire Builder)

Rather human reaction for an AI, looks like SARAH is starting to become more than just a normal SLDF AI.

If they were fresh from the Sphere i'd agree with you but they've had 60+ years to establish themselves, set up R&D and sort out there infrastructure. They already reproduced the Subcap cannon and rolled out a Dropship design for it fairly quickly after the raid that saw them salvaging one of...

[X] Dedicated Orbital Habitats [X] Deny Operation Barrage After thinking about it while taking out another shipyard could be good there's a much bigger risk of the Dracs salvaging some of our best tech if any of the ships taking part in the Thunder Run get disabled/destroyed. Our forces...

[X] Plan Onwards to Victory! We don't have to hold them as POW's forever due to our counter intel, but giving our intel guys a chance to look everyone over while we give them VIP POW treatment to keep them in one place for a turn or two would make their job a lot easier.

Personally for me it's because while Gustavson might be the face of the NRR we really can't judge the entire polity on his behavior alone. If it was just him we had to deal with i'd agree with you but considering that his core group is made up of spheroids from the Combine i'll be far happier...

Agreed, do we know what we need to repair them properly yet? being able to fix them up and then eventually build more would be great, especially for Calliope.

We wouldn't have to jump further out than they did (might even be able to get closer), we only managed to detect them because of SARAH and our secret SLDF sensor network, i really doubt the Dracs have anything comparable.

huh, guess thats one way for the NRR to find out that the Grifftigers are Sentient. [X] Defer to the lab It's unfortunate but better listen to the experts, hopefully we can store some seed samples of the trees on dropships/space stations just in case it does spread to the rest of the planet.
