    What i liked about warhammer was precisely that it was humans vs inhuman monsters and space gods in a battle where the chances of ultimate victory was slim. Bringing back primarchs changes that dynamic.

    Depends on what you mean by chaos world. A world that falls to chaos generally gets pulled at least partially into the warp and becomes a daemon world. And on these worlds, you labour for chaos, worship Chaos and if you are very "lucky" you might fight yourself free enough to become a champion...

    There is a really cool essay on this floating on the web somewhere. The writer used to zodiac to speculate on the missing primarchs. According to his theory one would have been a powerful psyker very skilled in diplomacy. The other would have been a gambler and a risk taker.

    I like the idea that Geneseed 'matures' and takes on traits from the space marine it was extracted from. With this idea, geneseed taken from a braindead clone that spent its days in a tank would get the job done, but it would be inferior to geneseed that had been allowed to mature in a space...
