OK - Prussia would be 80% of the ATL Norddeutscherbund and not 90% as I originaly thought :) On the map Luksemburg is inside the borders of the German Confederation (correctly), and not of the Norddeutscherbund. What that map erroneously shows is Braunschweig annexed by Prussia.

@Skallagrim Nice write up. I agree with most points :) A few nits - by 1862 Savoy and Nice had been anschlussed by France already. The hypothetical Nordreich would be dominated by Prussia even more than the OTL Kaiserreich, as Prussia would constitute 90% of it, and not 65%.
