You assume that those companies survive the war intact or at all. And where are their factories located? What’s stopping the Right-winged nation from just using them?

Considering how the vast majority of manufacturing, resources, military personnel and other materials that still remain in the USA are in or from majority right-wing states, I’d say it’s less of a concern for the Right then the Left.

And how much of it would they be actually be able to maintain? Or really use?

Except we aren’t in the 1990’s. The West is much more divided (at least by my understanding) and the political establishment has much more reason to make people’s lives difficult.
