    Bullshit. The only thing they have in common is the stamped sheet metal construction, and the Soviets were already experimenting with stamped metal construction in the PPSh. Internally, the Sturmgewehr resembles an SKS, not an AK. The AK rifle borrowed and stole from the Garand rifle.
