Derek Chauvin Trial: summer 2020 electric boogaloo

In the past year, George Floyd has also become much better at supporting his family than ever before.

That drop in quality is part of the goal of the BLM movement. Leftists don’t want to eliminate police, they want a police state with oodles of uniformed thugs going around taking people’s guns and arresting them for hate speech. The current crop of police aren’t too enthusiastic about doing that...

Derek Chauvin Trial: summer 2020 electric boogaloo

We have had years of leftist thugs and terrorists getting everything they want on a silver platter, with police literally getting down on their knees and washing their feet, with their victims being arrested for defending themselves. All that it’s done is make them more violent, more radical...

Derek Chauvin Trial: summer 2020 electric boogaloo

I don’t think that the case will be successful appealed. Not because the guilty verdicts are valid, they aren’t, even if there was enough evidence to convict him (which isn’t remotely true) but because our system is so corrupt and biased that they won’t let him receive a fair trial. There was so...

What a disgusting miscarriage of justice from a political show trial.

Derek Chauvin Trial: summer 2020 electric boogaloo

Once again, we seem to be reversing the standard of evidence that our criminal justice system is based on. The criteria for finding someone guilty isn’t that it’s theoretically possible that it could be murder, it’s proof beyond a reasonable doubt. In all honesty though, this isn’t a real...

Right, that is the entire thing here. Any police officer doing their job in response to George Floyd could be charged similarly with that argument. Floyd was resisting arrest, force had to be used to restrain him, any physical struggle could have exacerbated Floyd’s fentanyl overdose and...

I’m no doctor or biologist, but it doesn’t seem like a knee on the back of the neck can get the carotid arteries: And I’m no hand to hand expert either, but a knee on the back of the neck doesn’t like like any kind of blood choke either:

Derek Chauvin Trial: summer 2020 electric boogaloo

All of this discussion is about potential incompetence or maybe even manslaughter, and it’s certainly reasonable to say that Chauvin could have handled the situation better, but there isn’t any indication that Chauvin intended for Floyd to die or that he acted with total disregard for Floyd’s life.

Not from what my quick research turns up: Minnesota 3rd Degree Murder Minnesota 1st Degree Manslaughter Minnesota 2nd Degree Manslaughter From the Minnesota Criminal Code here: https://www.revisor.mn.gov/statutes/cite/609 Correct, our justice system is based not on what seems more likely...

Derek Chauvin Trial: summer 2020 electric boogaloo

I don’t think that a murder conviction is reasonable. Manslaughter might be though, which is the most that he would have been charged with if this case hadn’t become media circus and political cause. If he receives a manslaughter conviction instead of a murder one, there will probably be some...

Derek Chauvin Trial: summer 2020 electric boogaloo

Right, because if there is a mistrial, there is no chance that they wont prosecute again. They could get a dozen mistrials in a row and still keep prosecuting. In fact, I suspect that even if Chauvin is found not guilty, that the feds will prosecute him for some kind of civil rights violation...
