Warhammer The Iron Empire (Warhammer 40k)

I was thinking they were their names.
  2. The Whispering Monk

Warhammer The Iron Empire (Warhammer 40k)

Still very interested in the characters and the story. Found the pacing a bit slow in this chapter with all the character description. Not sure if/what changes I'd recommend.
  3. The Whispering Monk

Warhammer The Iron Empire (Warhammer 40k)

That can o' whuppass is about get opened!
  4. The Whispering Monk

Warhammer The Iron Empire (Warhammer 40k)

I was thinking that these women would already be genetically gifted like our heroin. So would be aptly suitable for the Sororitas.
  5. The Whispering Monk

Warhammer The Iron Empire (Warhammer 40k)

I can't imagine why they wouldn't. Heck, you might even see a Sister Soritas force formed from those mothers that have already born their 8.
  6. The Whispering Monk

Warhammer The Iron Empire (Warhammer 40k)

It's not quite the same thing, but this kind of growth is why Magnus, Daemon Prince, worked so hard to make sure that the Space Wolves didn't create a viable gene seed they could make successor chapters with.
  7. The Whispering Monk

Warhammer The Iron Empire (Warhammer 40k)

That seems like an odd path for the Alpharius. Too out in the open. Of course...he could always just drop his chosen and breedable legion onto a 'lost' planet and let them go for a century of two.
  8. The Whispering Monk

Warhammer The Iron Empire (Warhammer 40k)

 So the Custodes, who's name was 'Kitton', had a Tau girlfriend... :sneaky:
  9. The Whispering Monk

Warhammer The Iron Empire (Warhammer 40k)

Take the numbers BACK from Chaos!! They have no right to them, and only stole them from the Imperium!!!
  10. The Whispering Monk

Warhammer The Iron Empire (Warhammer 40k)

    oh snap!
  11. The Whispering Monk

Warhammer The Iron Empire (Warhammer 40k)

And thank you for the effort you're putting into this story. It's making me think of actually playing a non-Space Wolf marine force!
  12. The Whispering Monk

Warhammer The Iron Empire (Warhammer 40k)

Combine that with all the artillery that the city nodes can shove out.
  13. The Whispering Monk

Warhammer The Iron Empire (Warhammer 40k)

It's why Khorne hates fighting the Necrons and 'Nids. Necrons b/c they don't have blood, and the 'nids b/c they eat the blood themselves...making Khorne compete! Well, that and the Mechanicus...mostly just machine bits now, crunchy, but no real satisfaction.
  14. The Whispering Monk

Warhammer The Iron Empire (Warhammer 40k)

Another good chapter, but you lost me when Palamedes became a blood storm. I'll keep reading about Tristan and crew, but I have very little interest in reading about how a natural disaster destroys something. The Chaos or (whatever) is SO powerful there's no hope for anyone except for this one...
  15. The Whispering Monk

Warhammer The Iron Empire (Warhammer 40k)

Natural Born Astartes That's my guess at the goal of gene tampering with Isolde.
  16. The Whispering Monk

Warhammer The Iron Empire (Warhammer 40k)

I certainly think the Rusted Legion should make an appearance, but I'd recommend the come in after the 'climax' of current events. Mostly b/c it would allow more 'time' for us to directly contrast the two Legions, Rusted and Loyalist. If they make an appearance amidst all the other parties...
  17. The Whispering Monk

Warhammer The Iron Empire (Warhammer 40k)

Just how the Tau use them! As for the Great Robbery of Dorn...I'm a fan! Tristan did what he knows how to do, take a lot of punishment and keep going. My money is that the Fist Captain gets speared or manfully retreats while Tristan somehow gacks the Dreadnought while it's distracted.
  18. The Whispering Monk

Warhammer The Iron Empire (Warhammer 40k)

When I first looked at your clue I wasn't really paying attention to the hyphens, and I thought, "Or Else?" That's a really weird clue to leave. :P
  19. The Whispering Monk

Warhammer The Iron Empire (Warhammer 40k)

So...back to the thread at hand! What do we think -OR---E- means?
  20. The Whispering Monk

Warhammer The Iron Empire (Warhammer 40k)

The problem for Humanity in 40K is that they are being attacked on all sides and from within. They don't need sensible weapons so much as the need to point them in the same direction together. Humanity hasn't been able to do that since the Great Crusade. As for the situation our fearlessly...
