My first instinct is to say the springs need replacement with that symptom as long as you verified it's not a 'limp-wrist' issue. Don't bother with mods as a fix unless some mods were already made to the pistol. Then going back to factory spec would by my other recommendation.

OICW was 20mm not 25mm... that system led TO the XM25 which was the 25mm dedicated version.... Which, now that i'm 'membering things...may have actually been the system my associates were so interested in keeping...possibly...maybe...stupid getting old

According to the people I talked with that used them they really liked the capabilities it gave them. When I've researched it, the OICW failed b/c...well, not performance. Likely b/c the US realized the low caliber made it an "explosive rifle round," and the US didn't want to commit a 'war crime'.

Bullpups have a definite niche. They can provide a long barrel weapon for accuracy in a very short frame. Makes it really handy (see what I did there?) in urban environments. It's one reason the Israelis went with one in their Tavor.
