Except everyone just stopped trading with China because they invaded Taiwan.

But... They won't... Because even if China somehow succeeds in taking Taiwan those factories are going to burnt to the ground before they can take custody of them... And the expertise needed to run them will have either fled the country or be dead... Which Taiwan would know and counter.

Doubt it, if China tries to take Taiwan by force most of that economy is going to be burned to the ground. And that's not even counting an attack on Taiwan would lock them out of most of the worlds economic markets.
