Because of something called being able to fire off axis and easily relocate. You can put a turretted SPG in an area where there is only one way in and one way out, and not have to spend a long time rotating after firing. Also, Russia, North Korea and I think China still use non turrets SPGs...

Towed artillery is useful in some situations but most of Europe isn't going to be doingbthat kind of fighting. More of move and fire. Easier to love and fire an SPG

Uh no. The Porsche Tiger was over complicated and tried to use a micro diesel electric engine made for Uboats. Downsized it amd had horrible issues of getting stuck the in mud. And catching fire. The Porsche Tiger would also put your 65 to shame in that it probably had more Horsepower as well
