Some bases are like this. Some arnt. The thing about national parks is they are just that. National Parks. States have thier own parks within the state but the national ones are those the feds take care of. So in thay case it would effect funding heavily

Missiles need long ranges, air craft testing needs a lot of space etc. Then you also have national parks which are federal land as well
