    Battletech Welcome to the Jungle

At the very least, the commander needs to be cashiered, with prejudice.

Annnndddd we're back! Good look at a small part of what is going on the Confederation.

Just a warning, chapter isn't threadmarked(although I don't know whether Yellowhammer can do it or not).

Maybe. I skimmed more than read it, so I didn't see these ones.

He has added a group/faction that seems to have come from an alternate-Dune setting, too. No, it doesn't make the story better.

    Battletech Welcome to the Jungle

If you are talking about what I think you are talking about, it's the best example of why fiction(fan- or otherwise) shouldn't have more than two authors. EDIT: Typo

IIRC, it fits, barely(Thumper takes 15 slots, from what I remember). A single arm has 8 slots(9 without a hand, 10 without lower arm actuators), so at worst, you could take 7 slots from the side torso and have 2 slots remaining.

Eh, what's the problem? We already have a J. Edgar hover tank, why not a Mackarty?

    Battletech Welcome to the Jungle

Apropos of nothing; it has just occurred to me that Speaker lost an opportunity when he decided on the Helepolis as Weber's Warriors artillery mech, instead of a modified Mackie(which could be fitted with a Sniper, or maybe even two Thumpers). Such a mech could have been called... the Mackarty.

Original design is from the OWA, no? I seem to recall so. Does the original maker still exist in 3016?

I think they are going to wait for you to message them - at the very least, taking a long time ensure things doesn't flare up again when the thread is reopened.

    Battletech Welcome to the Jungle

Even if you accept the premises of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights(which I don't), there are examples that show that not even signers of the Declaration consider voting a right. In Brazil, voting is mandatory; should you not vote and not present a formal justification for not...

*snort* It makes me curious to know what Starfox wrote on that PM he sent you, but, to be honest, I have no deal knowing what he said, so my curiosity will remain unfulfilled. As for the pissing, bitching and moaning, it's exactly what I expected, dogpiling so you'll delete the parts that...

It's been somewhat less than what I expected, although I did manage to guess some of the culprits correctly. As for Catachan security, agree.

    Battletech Welcome to the Jungle

That first part... hoo, I can see some people in SB having hissy fits because of it. To me, it reads a bit awkward, but any DR* is an awkward thing, so it's OK to me. As for the unknown visitors, looks like the Catachan wildlife legend will begin soon. * DR - "discussão da relação" -...

This reminds me of that, we haven't seen the updated Warhammers yet. ERPPCs and freezers seem obvious changes, but what else?

    Battletech Welcome to the Jungle

You have my sympathies. Losing a parent is hard. By my(confused) reckoning, the 7th Sword of Light has lost 2 or 3 companies so far. The name of the plan and what was said in the chapter imply that you're kiting the Dracs to a place where the hammer will be dropped. The Mud Wrestlers may be...

    Battletech Welcome to the Jungle

Worst thing about it it's not that, it even isn't what Speaker termed 'peak SI cringe'. It's the fact that the hangers on Don't. Shut. The Fuck. UP. Seriously, the fact the guy takes at least 4 months to update is no reason for people keeping the story thread alive, especially given there's no...
