What If? An Ultramarine Legion Chapter in Pegasus Galaxy (SGA)

Primarch to your glory& the glory of him on Earth!
Assume that an Ultramarines Legion chapter of 10000 line Space Marines + their support and a star fort capable of supplying + maintaining them with wargear, be it a small tank or a battle barge, are transported to Pegasus Galaxy. Assume they capture and install a Stargate on their star fort for missions. And let's say their initial fleet is 5 battle barges, 25 strike cruisers and 75 escorts.

They don't have Guilliman with them.

How will Ultramarines help shape Pegasus galaxy?

Is Calgar leading them?
Any named?
You basically said the entirety of the Ultramarine chaptee

I am talking about the Great Crusade / The Horus Heresy era Ultramarines Chapters which were ten times the size of 40k era Chapters.

They'll shape it into a galaxy sized Ultramar. There's only 60 or so hive ships in the Pegasus galaxy, and they're scattered and disunited. Even if they were all together and if we assume all the 40k escorts are busy/totally useless/whatever, even at 2 to one odds the marines should crush them handily. If they're scattered everywhere it will be even easier.

Once the wraith are gone, it will be trivial for the marines to establish complete control over the galaxy.

It is usually assumed that magically, the Wraith can explode in numbers given real danger and a common enemy and enough humans to munch on.

Cause they brought down muh Ancients and shit.

Been a while since I've watched SG:A but from what I remember a Ultramarine chapter likely would still be overkill. A legion ten times that size is almost comical.

The Wraith are not going to do well on the ground. A bog-standard Wraith soldier is little more durable than a typical human and while a recently fed Wraith has a buffed heal IIRC it wasn't anything that could put up with, say, their torso being eviscerated by an armor piercing rocket grenade. And it goes without saying that any advantage in endurance/strength they enjoyed over SG personal would be far on the other foot against Astarte.

About the only thing the Wraith possess that might make the marines take notice is their Dart's offensive use of teleporting beams which could in theory "scoop" marines off the battlefield and store them as a pattern inside the ship. But they fly low enough and slow enough that shooting them down isn't likely going to be too much of a bother.

Things are likely only slightly better in space. The Wraith have sixty hive ships plus more numerous cruisers. If they have prep time and are all united they might be able to drown them with weight of numbers. If things play out like it did on the show with the Wraith largely dormant between feedings until the marines blow up a hive ship then they are likely going to be easy pickings destroyed in piecemeal as the Ultramarines scour the galaxy of Xeno filth.
