In this scenario beginning in the year 6,000 BC the ROB gives humanity a new headache. On each continent except for Antarctica. The ROB will place these beasts.

Deathclaws.

There will be a total of 50 of these beasts scattered on each continent. They will be in packs of 5 and hunt together. Their preferred prey will be domestic animals and humans. Each continent will have Deathclaws roaming for a period of 10 years. Then at the 10 year mark the Deathclaws will disappear from the landscape and return 100 years later. This cycle will continue until the year 2100AD. At each 500 year mark during the cycle. you will have a 10 extra Deathclaws per continent that are different. These Deathclaws will be as smart as a smart human being. And will have the ability to talk. They will be the most dangerous because these extra Deathclaws can lead the others in more tactical raids on human settlements. They will disappear at the 20 year mark instead of 10 as the regular Deathclaws do. So they will still be around for some extra years causing trouble.

Every 300 years the Deathclaws will breed. So doing those years 100 Deathclaws will be on the landscape instead of 50 per continent. How will the addition of these Deathclaw events affect Human Civilization? How will each past Empire and Culture deal with and view the Deathclaws? How will Earth circa 1500AD and afterwards deal with the Deathclaws? What are your thoughts on the matter?

Special Note: The Deathclaws are the versions from Fallout 4. They are extremely tough, fast and smart. They will be Apex Predators in any area they are in. The Packs of Deathclaws will be nomadic roaming the continents in search of food. So when they find a village they will hunt there until driven off or they have killed all the villagers. The Smart Deathclaws will be as smart as a moden day Special Forces Operator. And will not fall for obvious traps. These can be bargained with and placated with food or sacrifices.

Hmm, the animalistic deathclaws will sooner or later be rendered extinct. Even with their advantances, they just breed to slow.
Every 300 years, and they only produce four children per pair? Not going to work out.
The intelligent deathclaws on the other hand have more options. They can take over tribes and/or city states where they are at the top with nobles as their advisors and servants. They might practise human sacrifices for themselves to feed on, but I suspect that would be a practise that either ends with the deathclaws being kicked out or eventually stopping all together.

Turns out cultures with normalized human sacrifices don't tend to do well. Less likely is the smart Deathclaws integrating themselves in cultures and working as shocktroopers or other niches they can serve better than an average human.

Nothing short of a Ballista is gonna take down a Deathclaw in the Ancient World. Let alone a pack of them. So Ballista research will have to be a priority.
