You hear me! Lately the American people have been throwing a fit over her action and inaction on policies regarding this recent conflict given her clear conflict of interest with her constituency, but I am curious as to what would be different had anyone else been elected be they either Democrat or Republican candidates?

What POD are we going with? Biden picking someone else as his "token wokie sidekick" running mate? Biden not dying of that sudden aneurysm? Or Trump winning in 2020?

Because those are just massively different scenarios. You can't just assume a blanket "anyone else" in charge, because it matters who else is in charge. If Tlaib is still VP, she's either a huge embarassment to the administration, or used deliberately as a lightning rob. (That is: they let her bleat on about the poor Pallies, while Biden goes on supporting Israel.) If she's never VP and Biden picks someone else who is at least moderately less insane, stupid and evil as his VP, it's just business as usual: the administration supports Israel in practice, but calls for peace and negotiation. Condemnation of war crimes, support for humanitarian aid. The usual.

Now, if Trump is in charge, it's another story. He could go for any kind of wild scheme: from personally stepping to try "the art of the deal", to full US support for Israeli annexation of Gaza & expulsion of the Palestinians. It's way more of a wild card.

However, any of the above would be infinutely better than having this cursed President-by-accident who has the shameless gall to call child-burning, mass-raping, genocidal terrorists "the victims", all while blaming the actual victims as "apartheid criminals" who are simply receiving "understandable backlash after decades of borderline fascism".

If anything, though... she's made certain that we will get to see how Trump eventually handles the matter, after the next election. Have you seen the latest polls? It's impossible for him to lose, now.

I mean either would work, although I honestly don't see Trump winning in 2020 there are too many forces arrayed against him the fact that Biden was even able to win with Tlaib as a running mate is proof enough of that.

In all honesty, I think Biden somehow seeing a doctor sooner or selecting a different running mate is the easiest. Let's be honest we didn't expect Biden to attempt to court the end of the party that Bernie Sanders cultivated so seriously and choosing Tlaib while obvious in hindsight just seemed to come out of nowhere, it shocked pretty much the world, prior to that I would have said that their wasn't a snowball chance in hell that any member of "The Squad" (As Trump calls them) would ever have made it in any capacity into the White House other than maybe a small time advisor and yet here we are.

I mean, but the question then remains who does Biden pick for vice? Off the top of my head other members of the Squad are possible like, Omar AOC, or Pressley. (God forbid, I am not nearly drunk enough to be thinking of those possibilities) Sanders is too damn old and a man besides, it's more likely Biden would choose someone younger and female like Amy Klobuchar or Elisabeth Warren over him as they are almost along the far-right edges of the spectrum that Biden is trying to court here would accept.
