You've waited long enough. We're supposed to be living in a Society and you can't stand it any longer. It's time to depart this world, and find something new. Something better. Or at least to go on an Adventure. Heading out into the Wilds could be a lonely trek but you'll have a faithful companion by your side until you finally find what you're looking for.

All other issues of animal husbandry and training and being well and fit for travel are handwaved away. Your ready for this Trek, Allergies be Damned. You just need to pick your Animal Sidekick/Companion.

Here are your Choices (pick up to two):

Agro (Shadows of the Colossus): As large as a draft horse, this throughbred seems built for endurance but she's capable of running at exceptionally fast speeds, providing a stable and safe platform for her rider. She is tireless, brave and will defend her Rider to the death. She's also a smart mount. She's strong and tough, and able to be summoned with a whistle, or faithfully wait for her Master.

Boco (Final Fantasy): Boco is a Yellow Chocobo. Both a mount and a faithful friend, Boco can even use a beak to defend his Master in battle. Though smart, this version of Boco won't be able to talk to you through a tutorial. 😛

Rajah (Aladdin): Rajah is a tirelessly protective and loyal defender of the Princess of Agrabah. Here though, the fully grown tiger will be just as protective of you and your constant companion. Extremely loyal, he never showed a hint of aggression to his Master and can be both fierce and affectionate. Also surprisingly intelligent and a decent judge of character.

Sven (Frozen): A smart Reindeer with the personality of a Reindeer, Sven will often act as your ethical and moral better, stubborn but supportive and thanks to being extremely emotive, extremely personable. Supportive, loyal and playful, Sven is also extremely brave as well as smart. Also can pull himself out of ice laden waters.

Dog (Dragon Age): Mabari War Hounds are giant dogs who excel in war and combat. With howls that can demoralize and even stun the enemy, they are powerful combatants in their own right as well as faithful companions to their Master. Mabari War Hounds are also good at sniffing out stealthed enemies as well as finding useful (typically) items. Outside of combat they can be extremely playful and like many companions on this list, smart for a dog.

Dogmeat (Fallout 3): This Cattle Dog is a resilient Good Boy with good teeth and strong claws. He's also a stud so while he might not have the intelligence, versatile utility or combat capability of some of his companions (or earlier Fallout Dogmeat iterations) he does have that Puppies perk. He can growl when enemies are nearby and fetch basic trinkets and supplies on command. Loyal, dutiful and faithful.

Blue (Jurassic World): A genetically engineered female velociraptor, Blue is intelligent and cunning but unlike many of the other companions on the list, is still extremely predatory and ferocious as is her nature. She's friendly to those she considers part of her "pack" which includes you but will be far from controllable. Still she can slice and dice rival animals and heavily armed mercenaries at leisure and in the Jurassic World, is considered the "second most intelligent" species on the planet.

White Rhinoceros (Black Panther): The Border Tribe bred and trained these armored War Rhinos for combat. Significantly larger then even their counterparts in the wild, they are capable of trampling enemies underfoot including overpowering superhumanly enhanced ones as well as smashed through armored vehicles and power suits. They aren't particularly intelligent though smart enough to be trained for combat and to recognize friends and enemies even in the midst of combat.

Direwolf (Game of Thrones): Imagine getting your own Direwolf which is basically a giant above average intelligent wolf who will be your faithful companion and defender. Able to grow as large as a small horse, the Direwolves will use their bone crushing, limb removing bite strength to loyally and bravely defend anyone who threatens their Masters.

Myranda the Kennelmaster (Game of Thrones): In case your not an animal person, you can try and give this crazy bitch a ride. Since the OP implies a sense of faithfulness and loyalty uhhhh Have Fun... Good luck.

Hey Husky you missed Old School Battlecat from Heman and the Masters of the Universe. Battlecat is one of the best animal sidekicks you can have.

As a Husky I am inherently biased against most felines. I am working on bettering myself but I have good days and bad days.
Lucky you. I have to fight supervillians in my Rogues Gallery every week. Each cooking up various capers to try and defeat your friendly neighborhood Sailor.:p

I want a Mabari, so I can call my dog "Barkspawn". I think I am contractually obligated to do that.

If you offered me a cliff racer, I would have taken that...so I could annoy all those who oppose me to death.
