Hogwarts Legacy Senior Producer Troy Leavitt Announces Quitting Developer Avalanche Software

Hogwarts Legacy Senior Producer Troy Leavitt has announced he has quit working at developer Avalanche Software.

For those not aware, Troy Leavitt was the lead game developer of Hogwarts Legacy. A courageous internet journalist revealed that over two years ago Troy Leavitt operated a YouTube channel (of the same name, such impressive journalism) that espoused unpopular/ right wing opinions and expressed comments supportive of GamerGate. Soon mobs of internet games journalists and a social media mob called for his cancellation and firing from the project (along with Harry Potter founder JK Rowling for supposed transphobia). Troy Leavitt says his position at Avalanche Games was secure but he voluntarily quit the project and left the company and that he will be releasing a video! soon to expand on the issue.

Hm... I don't know about that one. Could be he was under contract not to bad mouth his managers, or maybe he doesn't want to bad mouth them because he doesn't want to get blacklisted from the rest of the industry and never get a chance to again work for a big studio. But that new video will be interesting.
