How OP would a Custodes be as a member of MCU Avengers?

Tyzuris

Primarch to your glory& the glory of him on Earth!
Basically assuming some technologically very adept Custodes who could build and maintain Custodes gear for himself akin to how Tony Stark builds+maintains a limited number of Iron Man suits for his own use.

How powerful would a single Custodes be as a member of Avengers?

+ Bonus round has a shield company of a few dozen Custodes in play here.

Assume they're there from the start of the first Avengers film.

The problem is that in the MCU, any given character is, at any given time, about as powerful (or as weak!) as the plot requires them to be. It can change from scene to scene.

That being said, the Custodes character has just become ludicrously OP by the standards of his own setting, for sure. The Imperium is basically a fossilised civilisation, with the Adeptus Mechanicus typically producing machinery by following the arcane instructions they possess, without even fully comprehending what they are doing. Innovation is pretty much a guaranteed path to heresy. So "technology" is more a product of scrupulously adhering to religious lore and dogma, and less the product of scientific understanding.

So if this guy has managed to build and maintain Custodes gear (some of the very best in the Imperium!) he's basically the most technologically savvy person the Imperium has produced in millennia. It's a cruel twist of fate that he should be whisked off to another universe, because if he could teach his knowledge to others, he'd basically be able to give the Imperium an edge against all rival powers...

Well...He's gonna be able to destroy anyone but Thor and the Hulk. Iron Man has great tech, but his armor will come apart under detemined bolter fire from the Custodes' weapon. In close combat, he can probably rip the armor pieced off of Stark, and his CCW's will be able to penetrate Stark's armor...those weapons are that sharp and dense. On the flip side...the Custodes' tech is Stark's wet dream IF he's allowed to examine it.

Speedsters like Quicksilver MAY give the Custodes a problem. The Scarlet Witch and those types would still probably wreck him. If he's got a full Shield Company...holy crap things just changed.

A Custodes isn't the physical equal of Thor or Hulk, but he would crap all over Cap level people.

How his weapons, armor, and mental abilities compare to the MCU is a crapshoot thanks to both universes being very variable.

I mean Endgame Ironman with Tony not jobbing is probably superior in terms of tech. Avengers Iron Man is pretty much inferior, at least in most respects.

The biggest issue is that GW can never make its superhumans anything like consistent, and that's even more of an issue with the Custodes. Custodes as they are supposed to be? Those are very powerful, capable, and versatile. The Custodes sent to keep an eye on Lorgar, well Fury would lead them around by the nose.
