How would things go with Baelor still being alive?

Things get better or somehow spiral out of control longterm?

For the most part nothing will change. Unless Baelor being alive butterfly's away the death that happened during the Great Spring Sickness. Baelor two sons died during the sickness, so even if Baelor survived the succession would probably remain the same except with one extra step Baelor.

Then again, Baelor could butterfly many things.
