A new mysterious stranger is needed to help protagonists in need and combating the fell adversaries of the Wasteland.

Needless to say, it's a pretty neat job. You show up, blow away some bad guys, look mysterious and badass, then vanish or something. Making a salutatory nod. Each of the potential strangers gets to personalize the role after all.

1. John Wick (John Wick): John Wick will show up in a suit and tie, likely from the side or behind one or a group of enemies and proceed to ruthlessly eliminate them with clinical efficiency with one or more pistols, hand to hand combat techniques and occasionally flashy knife work. He's also able to eliminate targets covered in near full body armor. In case of heavier armored opponents, he might spend most of his time opening up one target for lethal strikes. Beyond flashy dispatching of one or small groups of foes and impeccable dress sense, no other benefits will be accrued beyond a potentially saluatory nod. He will vanish upon one or both of his handguns going empty, which could take some time since he has a combined thirty rounds to use.

2. Chris Wolff (The Accountant): When activated, Chris Wolff will appear either at long range, sniping down one or more targets (depending on how quick they can take cover) or otherwise appear in close range, empty a pistol magazine, before dissipating. Secondary advantages however are that if you have any accounting or financial issues, he'll be able to sort those out as well as practical through the power of autistic mathematics. Just you know, leave the papers and/or terminal out in a readily accessible manner. May awkwardly wave if spotted by the protagonist.

3. Doc Holiday (Tombstone): Possesses an unparaled quickdraw but not the CQC techniques or firepower of prior candidates so he maybe impaired against armored opponents if rapidly unloading one or both Single Action Army Revolvers into foes faces with precision accuracy before you can even press 'V' to activate Vats isn't enough. He may sometimes show up with a 10 Gauge double barreled shotgun just to say Hello prior at group events. Bonus features include saying a trademark one liner which may or may not make sense such as "I'm your Huckleberry." Also if you cheat at gambling or otherwise fleece characters with negative karma he may arrive and help facilitate your escape just because he's that sort of guy.

4. Raul Tejada (Fallout New Vegas): Dressed as a Vaquero, this ghoul will show up wielding the standard Mysterious Stranger weapon, a .44 Magnum Revolver with deadly accuracy. If combat ends with him still there, he can be engaged in awkward conversation. He will repair your stuff in exchange for confectionaries as well as engage in light, potentially interesting, topic oriented and mildly sarcastic conversation before stating he has to go (which he does because he's the Mysterious Stranger) and disappear.

5. Floyd "Deadshot" Lawton (DCEU): When summoned, Floyd Lawton will show up in all of his badassery equipped with his Wrist Magnum gauntlets, emptying rounds into your foes with extreme accuracy and prejudice. Afterwards, if you attempt to engage him in any sort of communication, he will walk over to you, slap you hard in the face and tell you to "Keep his name out of your God Damned Mouth." Conversely, if you don't say anything to him, he will walk over to you, slap you hard in the face and tell you "If you got something to say?" Further interaction may result in him getting very slap happy which will be highly problematic if combat is still ongoing.

6. Mac Eliot (AvP): Mac Eliot is unique in that he can show up in one of two instances. Sometimes when using VATS you tend to use it for spotting enemies. Since your perception is balls, it never works. Mac will be triggered by your failed munchiness and point out where the enemies are for your newbie ass, often by sneaking up near you, pulling you down into a hiding/sneaking position and whispering "I see you" towards the target or something similar. Otherwise in combat, he will arrive with a minigun and proceed to empty several hundred rounds in a general cone sized area while screaming as the minigun barrels turn red hot. Not ideal for melee based builds or companions.

7. Tequila Yuen (Hard Boiled/Stranglehold): Hard to trigger, Tequila Yuen will show up wielding two Berettas with near infinite ammunition only during encounters in which the protagonist is considerably outnumbered. The hard boiled Hong Kong Police Inspector will proceed to fight alongside you in a beautifully bloody display of thrills, spills and kills whilst riddling enemies with egregious amounts of gunshot wounds or in the case of armored opponents, just firing at them so much they can be kept off balance or otherwise have weapons shot out of their hands. He will persist in the target area until killed (strangely he's really hard to target accurately) or all enemies in the immediate vicinity are dead. Dove release is optional.

8. Pyro (Team Fortress): A mumbling pyromaniac of indeterminate origin, the Pyro will use his flamethrower to incinerate enemies during the short time they are with you after being triggered. Unlike some Fallout Flamers and Incinerators, the Pyro's afterburner effect means its great damage over time and the Pyro will make sure to combust as much as they can in the short period they are with you, dousing all non-friendly targets with a healthy dose of flames from their homemade flamethrower. Characters with low or high luck or low intelligence or some form of serious behavioral issue may find them to be a romance option. Characters with the Pyromaniac perk will find them to be a mandatory romance option.

9. Elizabeth Comstock (Bioshock: Infinite): Will not help in fight but will throw much needed supplies in your face. Could be handy if you need a stimpak, extra magazine of ammunition, a helpful dose of Steady or a Weapons Repair Kit.

10. Why choose? Just roll a 1d10... with 10 being a critical summon fail and the two mysterious strangers can fight each other first!

If we can make suggestions, nominating Destiny's Exo Stranger Elsie Bray.

Happily do so! Though there's no room on the poll. Plus I never played Destiny. 🤭 Which wouldn't be a concern in itself but I had to say something snarky in the description of each Stranger candidate to make them SPECIAL.

Any choices amongst the current prospects?
