Palpatine vs You and Coruscant Guard (Star Wars)

Based on a What if Order 65 fanfic I read.

The idea is that Anakin discovers Order 65 and with persuasion from Padme and Mace implement the order, at the same time you find your self in the Clone body of the 2nd in Command of the Coruscant Guard 30 minutes before they launch a raid to kill/capture Palpatine.

ROB tells you to return home you have to complete the capture or elimination of Palpatine without Jedi assistance or orbital bombardment, Commander Fox of the Coruscant Guard will listen to what ever your suggest but does want to minimize Clone casualties.

What combination of tactics and equipment will you plan for the Coruscant Guard to not only stop Palpatine from fleeing but also capture or kill him?

Use a couple of Arc 170 fighters to launch Proton Torpedoes at the building Palpatine is in. A targeted volley will work to take out Palpy. And it will not be orbital bombardment since It will be fighters in city.

Just use artillery to take his residence out.

Worst way to kill a major character anyways. Y'all will probably just assume he's dead in the rubble probably.

You know movie logic though. Unless you see him vaporized personally or there is a body it's going to turn out he survived and you just blew up a massive building for no reason.

Somehow... Palpatine survived...

Lot's of ways to do this, but for minimal casualties...Palp's has been shown in Disney canon to be vulnerable to nerve gas, even if he can survive it in short bursts, if he can get to medical care afterwards.

Seems like trapping Palp's in an single exit room (say elevator) with a droid wired with nerve gas, and then an explosive finisher for when all Palp's energy is in trying to deal with the toxins, might be the best option.

Wire a mouse droid with the right gear, and Palp's might not even realize where any threat he feels is coming from till it's too late.

Might lose a couple Senate Guards in the process, but that's a fairly low price to pay.
