Crossover Planetary and Colony Index For the Great Crusade

The Dog Whistler... I mean Whisperer.
Founder
The idea here is forming an index of worlds, xenos and otherwise, for the planners of the Great Crusade to reference as they bring the Galaxy under the benevolent dominance of Humanity. Since this is a variation of the Warhammer 40K concept... but likely taking place much, much, many more millenia earlier, the main limitations will be geographical.

Any world that can be argued as being in the Milky Way Galaxy and settled in the near future might be fair game. So worlds from Battletech, Starcraft, the MCU or DCAU etc, Farscape and Stargate as a few examples.

But there is also another source of worlds. Lost colonies. Think something like Seras from Gears of War or Gaia in Final Fantasy VII. But it could even conceivably include fantasy worlds as well like Planetos as one example (that I wouldn't really care for including). :p

Another source, which would require more lore explanation in the history, would be adopted poorly defined worlds. Like where did the aliens from X-Com originate from? Maybe all of the Greys come from a single planet or polity?

Other possibilities that would require some explanation would be something like nBattlestar Galactica. Humanity apparently evolved on Kobol 4000 years prior to the 'Fall of the Twelve Colonies' lore and this preceded them find our Earth some untold number (probably thousands of years prior) to our backhistory. But could be adapted to being something less stupid.

Finally as a more original idea would be making a more original world, though for an index like this it'd be nicer to have a frame of reference. Like I did for my Deathworld Index. You might not be able to make a world that is a direct port of Fallout, Attack on Titan or your favorite Victoria II playthrough but you could make a more original world based on that concept.

Which would be an option because a format like this would likely eschew planets that are located in galaxies far far away such as Star Wars. It would also exclude multiverses so sorry Sliders fans. If you want that, you'll have to pull a rather appropriate 40K and make an original world based off of whatever alternate concept you've summoned in your brain.

Also open to recommendations on how to flesh out the idea.

Current Template:

Classification: Classification of the Planet. Based mostly on the 40K Idea of World Classification.

History:

Military:

Society:

Forecast: The likelihood they will join this fictional Imperium of Man expy. Certain. Likely. Probable. Questionable. Unlikely. Doubtful. Refusal.

Projected Tithe: What the planet could likely offer the Imperium of Man and what the Imperium probably wouldn't be interested in. Also a good place to comment on their economy and industry. Keeping in mind tithes are different from normal commercial trade.

Tribute: The resources, technology, goods and most fun of all, military units the World will offer the Imperium of Man.

Patronage: What the Imperium of Man will likely send to the World to keep them a productive member of the Imperium including basics like food aid, or garrison troops etc.

After the Reunification of Earth, Terra will soon have to journey to the Stars once again and bring all of the Worlds once lost to Humanity back into the fold. Scouring the surveys and archives, our planners are already hard at work indexing the many worlds that were charted before as well as more recently reported as to have existed.

Acheron
Classification: Civilized World, AgriWorld

Wealth: Moderate
Standard of Living: Generally Middle or Upper Class.
Quality of Life: Safe, Stable and Secure. Main threats are from external aggression.
Freedom: Moderate Political Freedom. High Economic Freedom. High Social Freedom. High Media Freedom.
Religion: Religious Freedom. Secular and Mainstream Terran Faiths.

Statecraft: Mildly Xenophobic. Open on Diplomacy. Open on Trade. Open to Immigration.
Imports: Weapons. Military Equipment. Medical Supplies. Manufactured Goods.
Exports: Large Amounts of Foodstuffs. Fertilizer. Bio-Organic Technology. Other planets in the system offer manufactured fighter craft, unrefined ores and minerals, unrefined chemicals and processed chemicals and fuels.
Technology: Space Age

History:

Located in the Gallonigher System, Acheron is the breadbasket for the League of Free Worlds and for numerous other trading partners. Despite all seven planets in the System being colonized, Acheron is the only one that is capable of comfortably hosting organic life like Humans. Preceding the Reunification War, they were base of the Council of the League of Free Worlds when they declared their independence from the Tsar of the Earth based Government that held authority over their colonies. After securing their independence, the leader of the Rebels, known as 'the Father' became an Autocratic Ruler over the League though with far less oppression then the Earth based Tsar.

Military:

The League maintains a largely volunteer, professional military including a powerful, well equipped and skilled Space Navy consisting of fighters, transports, defense stations and capital warships of every size.

Society:

League society is generally prosperous and content, though still fueled by paranoia over the Colony Wars that they engaged in to secure independence. Despite the autocracy of 'The Father' who led them to victory in those Wars, the Colonies are largely content and politically stable. Also despite previous conflicts, the League of Free Worlds has charitably delivered emergency aid, including to former adversaries. External threats including a growing Xenos threat have also made them more amenable to working with other Human powers, including Earth based ones.

Forecast: Likely. Despite their War of Independence against an Earth based Tsar, it's believed that Acheron and the other worlds of the League of Free Worlds will be open to submitting to Imperium of Man authority. While the Tsar was exploitative, the Colonies have repeatedly shown a desire to engage in trade and goodwill with their fellow Humans. One unknown impediment is the leader of the League of Free Worlds whose nickname is 'The Father' and his origins and whether they match his so far seemingly selfless motivations.

Projected Tithe: Acheron is a breadbasket. However the other planets in the system provide their own resources. Acheron can provide large amounts of foodstuffs. Bennay, unrefined ores and minerals. Fortuna, unrefined chemicals and refined fuels. Morpheus, unrefined ores and minerals. Proteus, unrefined ores and minerals. Refined ores and minerals. Fighter Craft. Midas, processed chemicals.

Tribute:
Large quantities of foodstuffs and unrefined ores, minerals and chemicals. Refined fuel. Manufacture of Space Fighter and Bomber Craft. Large numbers of pilots and sailors.

Patronage:
Small quantities of medical supplies and necessary manufactured goods. Terraforming equipment.

E.D.N. III
Classification: Ice World, Death World
Affiliation: Claimed By the NEVEC Corporation.
Government: Contested Between the NEVEC Corporation and Rebel Groups known as 'Snow Pirates'

Physical Features: Ice World. Lower Than Standard Gravity
Terrain: Ice World With Exceptions of Areas of High Volcanic Activity
Climate: Arctic. Too Cold For Unaided Human Habitation.

Species: 100% Human. Inhabited by a wide array of hostile and diverse reptilian insectoid life forms known as Akrid.
Population: Low Thousands of Humans.
Density: Sparsely Populated in Small Tribal Groups
Literacy: High
Wealth: Poor.
Standard of Living: Poor. Survival Based.
Quality of Life: Extremely Hostile Environment and Dangerous.
Freedom: Dependent on Tribe and Group.
Religion: Secular or Mainstream Terran Faiths

Statecraft: Little Government Presence.
Imports: Colonists. Terraforming Equipment. Almost all basic necessities and luxuries.
Exports: Liquid Thermal Energy (T-ENG).
Technology: Space Age.

History:

The NEVEC Corporation colonized this planet, including the construction several large cities with the expectation of engaging in largescale terraforming of the planet for its 'Frontier Project.' However they underestimated the threat of the indigenous Akrid species and the colonists were underequipped in resisting them. As a result NEVEC abandoned the colonization attempt and left behind large numbers of colonists as well. NEVEC returned sometime later equipped with extreme environment battlemechs known as Vital Suits not to terraform the planet, but to harvest the thermal energy of the indigenous Akrid species. Their control of the colony is contested not only by the indigenous lifeforms but also Rebel forces originating from original colonists, new colonists or NEVEC deserters and are collectively known as 'Snow Pirates.'

Military:

NEVEC forces are uniformly equipped and have a professional appearance but do not seem particularly highly trained. NEVEC has recently deployed large numbers of cloned soldiers as well. Snow Pirate bands vary in size, skill and equipment but are all highly skilled at survival in the Ice World. Most groups operate environmental Vital Suits to engage larger Akrid forms or each other in engagements. NEVEC Vital Suits are typically more technologically advanced and formidable.

Society:

Outside of NEVEC colonies and outposts, most 'Snow Pirate' inhabitants live in small enclaves, eeking out existences in the intensely hostile environment. Snow Pirate bands vary widely in temperament and motivation, with some simply trying to survive, others motivated by greed and others with more altruistic or ideological motivations.

Forecast: Likely. The Imperium of Man will provide more responsible stewardship of the colony. The support the Imperium can offer will be very persuasive to local Snow Pirate bands in allowing them to secure their existence on E.D.N. III. NEVEC can either join or face economic ruin in challenging the Imperium.

Projected Tithe: The thermal energy that can be harvested by the Akrid could turn out to be a key resource. It is also a good potential source for small quantities of specialized Arctic troops. Vital Suits could be potentially deployed in other extremely hostile environments besides arctic and volcanic.

Tribute: Large Sustainable Quantities of Liquid Thermal Energy (T-ENG). Small Numbers of Arctic and Cold Weather Environment Troops and Vital Suit Pilots. Licensed Manufacture of Vital Suits.

Patronage: Sufficient Imports of Basic Supplies and Goods Needed for Sustainment of Continued Population.

Lieta Novus
Classification: Advanced Garden World
Affiliation: Novus
Government: Unknown

Physical Features: Unknown
Terrain: Temperate and Terrestrial.
Climate: Pleasant and Mild.

Species: 100% Artificial Novus
Population: Believed Low Numbers of Artificial Novus. Likely Billions if not Trillions of Robots.
Density: Urbanized Settlements
Literacy: Artificial Intelligence
Wealth: Uniformly Rich.
Standard of Living: Very High
Quality of Life: Very High
Freedom: High When Applicable.
Religion: Unknown if Applicable.

Statecraft: Open on Diplomacy. Open on Trade. Open on Temporary Refugees.
Imports: Raw Materials. Recyclable Product. Strategic Weapons.
Exports: Computers. Nanotech. Vehicles. Robots. Advanced Manufactured Goods. Recycled Products. Energy Products.
Technology: Space Age.

History:

The Novus were believed to have once been an organic humanoid species but were reportedly completely exterminated by what they described as a 'harvesting' operation of their Home Systems. An artificial intelligence the Novus created known as 'The Founder' survived the extermination and salvaged genetic and other data on the Novus species, uploading them into artificial life forms. They then rebuilt a new Homeworld and are currently engaged in an ongoing campaign against certain xenocidal species and factions. Contact with Terran colonies has been either of avoidance and ignorance with some exception as to when certain Human (and other sapient) worlds are under threat in which case near full military cooperation will be temporarily extended.

Military:

The Novus rapidly deploy large numbers of cheap, inexpensive military robots and vehicles for rapid assaults to achieve local dominance and overwhelm enemy forces on the ground. They also possess advanced aerial craft in ample numbers to achieve air superiority and use their light, stealthy, fast and numerous forces for hit and run attacks. The Novus also engage in extensive electronic, cyber and digital warfare. In overall quality their military is generally more technologically advanced, especially in lighter units, then most Terran militaries.

Society: Very few Novus actually remain and all that do inhabit artificial constructs for bodies. Their society is largely made up of rapidly assembled and seemingly expendable robots as well as unknown numbers of highly advanced artificial intelligences who seem to share control of their society with the remaining Novus. Their main interactions with others so far has been as presenting themselves as enemies of particular hostile powers.

Forecast: Questionable. The Novus maybe wary of large expansionist polities. Conversely, autonomy over their own affairs and the protection of Humanity in exchange for a significant tithe could be possible to extract.

Projected Tithe:
Despite the potential Military and Civil Applications of Novus technology, much of their autonomous robots are believed to have a primary loyalty to the Novus as opposed to Humanity regardless of any agreements made and would be ill suited for service abroad. This includes the potentially billions of Ohm Robots and highly effective Dervish Jets.
Tribute:
Export of Recycling Centers, Collector Drones and Other Advanced Civil Industrial Technology. Anti-Matter. Manufacture of Anti-Matter Tanks, Corruptor Electronic Warfare Drones and Amplifier Sonic Siege Vehicles.
Patronage:
Large Amounts of Recyclable and Repurposable Scrap Waste. Significant quantities of raw natural resources.

Moria
Classification: Civilized World. Mining World. Arid World.
Affiliation: Capitol of the Kel-Morian Combine. Independent World.
Government: Unitary. Military Corporatocracy

Physical Features: Earth Sized. Slightly High Gravity. Two Moons
Terrain: Large Continents. Small Oceans. Seas of Dust. Volcanic Uplands. Predominantly Badlands.
Climate: Dry, Hot and Arid

Species: 100% Human. Small number possess psionic aptitude.
Population: 4.1 Billion
Density: Several Large Cities. Numerous Smaller Cities. Hundreds of Mining, Factory and Refinery Outposts.
Literacy: High
Wealth: Moderate Inequality.
Standard of Living: Middle to Working Class.
Quality of Life: Rough But Safe.
Freedom: Low Political Freedom. Moderate Economic Freedom. Moderate Social Freedom. Low Media Freedom.
Religion: Religious Freedom. Secular or Mainstream Terran Faiths.

Statecraft: Mildly Xenophobic. Open on Diplomacy. Open on Trade. Neutral on Immigration.
Imports: Food, Water, Unrefined Ore, Medical Supplies, Workers, Luxury Goods
Exports: Refined Minerals, Unrefined Ore, Vespene Gas, Precious Metals, Industrial Goods
Technology: Space Age.

History:

Like all Terran Life In the Koprolu Sector, Morians are descendant from the Supercarrier Argo that landed on the planet generations ago, dispensing a population of colonists who emerged from cryostasis that were uniformly prisoners and vagabonds from Earth. They worked hard to survive in 'The New World' and created a prosperpous, self sustained community before reacquiring subwarp drive and discovering other nearby worlds in neighboring systems within the Sector, establishing diplomatic and commercial relations with both the Terran Confederacy of Tarsonis and the Umojan Protectorate on Umoja.

Later, in fear of the growing power of the Confederacy, the two largest businesses on Moria, the Morian Mining Coalition and the Kelanis Shipping Guild joined together in pledging military aid to each other and any other mining interest that was threatened by external forces. From this day forward a heavily militarized Corporate State backed by shady and corrupt Leadership established and controlled the Kel-Morian Combine.

Military: Large Professional Modern Military Forces Including Power Armored Infantry, Mechanized Walkers, Armored Vehicles, and Military Spacecraft Up to Capitol Ship Size.

Society: Moria is a rough planet to live on and the society reflects the environment being just as rugged and hard working. Their society is relatively stable however, with a fairly well developed industry and infrastructure as well as established norms. They are notably rather fiercely independent which can also be ascribed to possible selfishness and greed emanating from the current corporate leadership. The corruption doesn't seem to significantly impair domestic stability and prosperity however and is more economic and political instead of based on nepotism.

Forecast: Probable. Despite their greedy and corrupt leadership and the perceived independence of the Kel-Morians even when their fellow Terrans are under threat, Humanity can use the carrot of economic opportunity to draw the Kel-Morians into our Imperium, or replace the current selfish Corporate leadership with individuals more amenable to our vision while still ensuring the security and welfare of the population.

Projected Tithe: As a heavily militarized mining world owned by a corporate cartel with its own shipping and logistics operations are likely streamlined to make tithing efficient. Some military manufacturing would be of use abroad while others such as Goliath Walkers would likely be inferior duplicates to assets that already exist in our Armories. Likewise local Ripper, Outrider and Guild Guards forces can remain in their PDF.
Tribute:
Large Amounts of Refined Minerals including Refined Vespene Gas Products. Manufacture of CMC Power Armor, Gauss Small Arms, Gauss Cannons, Vulture Hover Bikes, Armored Personnel Carriers. Several Regiments of Space Marine and Marauder based Power Armored Infantry. Several Squadrons of Wraith Stealth Fighters and Banshee Tactical Strike Aircraft.
Patronage:
Small Amounts of Food and Unrefined Ores Maybe Sent For Emergency Surplus.

Suk
Classification: Civilized World. Mining World.
Affiliation: Tamar Pact. Small Mutual Defensive and Economic Alliance of Several Worlds Including the Civilized Worlds of Nox and Fatima.
Government: Unitary. Parliamentary Democracy.

Physical Features: Earth Sized.
Terrain: Five Continents. Tropical and Sub Tropical. Large Wetlands and Jungles. Large Oceans Half Polluted With Native Poisonous Algae.
Climate: Temperate and Pleasant

Species: 100% Human.
Population: 987 million
Density: Rural. Numerous Small Towns and Defensive Blockhouse based Communities. Hundreds of Mining Outposts.
Literacy: High
Wealth: Moderate Equality
Standard of Living: High.
Quality of Life: Safe and Healthy. Water Shortages.
Freedom: High Political Freedom. Moderate Economic Freedom. Moderate Social Freedom. Moderate Media Freedom.
Religion: Religious Freedom. Suk Requiem Believers Local Sect that merged Tantric Buddhism and Christianity. Also significant presence of Christianity, Buddhists and Muslims.

Statecraft: Open on Diplomacy. Open on Trade. Neutral on Immigration.
Imports: Water.
Exports: Rare Minerals. Unrefined Ores. Seafood. Agricultural Products.
Technology: Space Age.

History:

Founded by the Tamars, a family of Pakistani-American heritage that prospered post-exodus by developing a strong agricultural base and professional military foundation on the planets they helped settle. Suk II was the first of three worlds including Nox and Fatima that would form the original Tamar Pact for mutual defense. The Pact soon developed into an economic community and worked on colonizing more worlds to expand mercantile opportunities.

Military:

The planetary defense forces are given regular professional training and well equipped for defensive operations against pirates and raids. Forces include light, motorized and mechanized infantry, maritime forces and battlemechs, favoring heavier models. There are also squadrons of aerotechs and small military spacecraft available. Small professional forces, often mercenary, are hired for more particular military operations.

Society: A stable and prosperous society that values freedom and liberty as well as a healthy amount of civic responsibility. However due to ongoing raids and ecological issues, they haven't become complacent.

Forecast: Likely. Suk and moreso the other worlds of the Tamar Pact are not individually strong enough to resist external aggression and Suk itself has several tactical vulnerabilities that could be exploited. Also being founded on commerce means the opening up of economic opportunity as well as more guaranteed security for this and other associated worlds.

Projected Tithe: The primary importance of the Tamar Pact will be its commercial relationships which can lead to a stronger overall economy in the local sector. Suk however has significant strategic resources that can be of use. The Civilized Worlds of Nox and Fatima would likely follow suit in joining.
Tribute:
Significant Amounts of Rare Minerals and Ores. A few Regiments of Tamar Marines Infantry and Armor. A Few Battalions of Battlemechs including the Hespereus Guards and Tamar Hussars.
Patronage:
Significant Amounts of Water.

"Looking Glass" Earth
Earth from John Ringo "Looking glass " series.
here;

Earth - the same as ours, but USA get alien technology, and other states do not - so,we have yeah Murica here.

Aliens:
Dreen - main enemy, hive mind race which enslave other and keep taking over new systems - to be honest,i do not see that Earth stopping them here.
Smarter then nids, they do not destroy worlds, but made them produce new units, and turn enemy into their soldiers. One of their units/giant spiders/ in 4 books was shown as long ago defeated enemies, but their bio-weapon they left let humans win that fight.

2.Adar - freindly aliens contanting Earth by Gate, with technology 100 years ahead of us - still not enough to fight Dreen when they come to their planet.

3/Cheerick - on medieval level, but use bio-fighters looking like dragonfly to fight/could be used in space, have schield and lasers/
Hired by humans as space fighters.
Very efficient against Dreen, win with 1: 2 ratio with little loses.

4.Xexasehr - aliens which planet was overwhelmed, with their own FTL and technology better then Dreen spaceships - they lost only becouse of numbers.
Since USA saved them and lead to planet when they could live, they are good allies here.

5.They found facality belonging to some old powerfull race, which let them destroy entire Dreen invasion fleet.Race seems like dead here.

Anyway,Politics:
1.Only USA and their allies matter here, muslims and North Korea get mostly eaten during invasion through gates.

2.Military: that is problem, they first get Adar stuff, start producing,,and now Xaxosehr - it seems, that they do not knew what mass-produce now.

Forecast: they knew, that when Dreen come, they would be eaten/enslaved - so,they would join.
Their alien friends would join for the same reason.
BUT - could your non-IoM defeat Dreen ?

Projected tithe: whatever they could made out of Adar/Xaxosehr technology.

Tribute: they built one spaceship, captured another - and, they have Marines in powered armours, too.

Patronage : only for poor countries.

I do not have my own ideas/never had/ , but i read few,so first:
1.Evangelion world - but, with smarter SEELE which do not want kill humanity, and Gendo who never lost waifu.
Result - Shinji have mom,6 sisters /all looking like Rei and mad as hatter/ ,and they kicked angel asses, and even go to space.
They also conqered Australia and used its smart spiders and scorpions as wespons.

Here:

Hmmm that would likely have to be part of the Reunification War prequel era. You could populate Techno-Barbarian Earth with various societies, mostly post apocalyptic.

Tokyo-3 could be one of them. Could pull from settings like Fallout, Metro, Rifts, Shadowrun, Command & Conquer and Judge Dredd etc.

Could include the rest of the Sol System as well.

Remember do not take canon version - it is simply too lame, when Nobody dies have many Evas with fake lances and missile launchers, big Mechs, and bears in power armours.Wolverines,too.
Do not counting mentiones giant spiders and scorpions with lasers.

Most pilots could weaponize their AT field, too.

Another good one is Aeon entelahy Evangelion, crossover with Chultu Mythos.
Here:https://www.fanfiction.net/s/5834947/1/Aeon-Entelechy-Evangelion
There is no good end this time,of course

Althought, other crossover with Chultu,Children of Elder gods, actually have good ending.
Here:

Well, all Evangelion versions with stronger characters would do.

Now,something else - old sci-fi tetralogy by John Ringo,here:

Basically,Earth accidently made gates to other planets, aliens invade,we kick them, get better technology and alien allies.

Good thing is,that enemy, hive race named Dreen,is not stupid, and, frankly, they would probably win if books do not end.

A lot of the Ringo stuff from the Looking Glass series as well as things like the Posleen War series would likely have good worlds to survey for the thread, but I haven't read much of them so I don't really have a frame of reference.

Earth from Evangelion:Nobody dies -

basically, the same Earth like canon Evangelion,BUT:

1.SEELE decide to not end life,Kihl Lorenz seems to die,but is still lurking in shadows. They would rule Eath,if not for...

2.Yui Ikari - she do not die, rule NERW Tokio,Gendo is happy to be her sidekick. And SEELE seems to be frightened by her,so she is de facto ruler of Eart.

Well, formally there are still states and elections, but whotever win would do what Yiu want anyway.

There are militaries, and they even made big Mechs, piloted, among others,by Mana Kirishima - but, they are nothing compared to Evas, which are more poverfull then in canon.

EVA2 with its pilot,demi-angel Uriel Sohryu/with machine being his dead dog/ is capable of crossing dimensions and space - that is how they finally killed Adam here.

Shinji is in EVA 1 piloted by his dead sister, ichi, and his girlfriend is Asuka, who here have no self esteem, becouse her mother is still alive.

There are few others, most important is EVA 6 piloted by Kaworu, which girlfriend is Kei Ikari, one of 8 Shinji living sisters.
Others are Rei,Kiko/genius/,Iti,Siyon/ninja/,Zyuu/french maid/,Nana/Kaboom/,Hatchi /another genius/

Kaworu and Kei somehow made AI children, which invaded Australia/ Keiworu/,some Keiworu now pilot serial Evas.
Nobody knew how many of them exist.

But,they are all fanatically loyal to their mom,and made all surviving sapient spider and scorpions, too.
Rei AI children which she have with her giant robot/Reego/ also go there, and made spiders actually worshipp Rei.

All angels are defeated and mostly dead/few survivors serve humanity now/
except Armisael, who go to South America to recover ecosystem there and help people.

And Zophoel, who run from fight and have crush on Shinji/she is girl/

Forecast:
If Yui Ikari say jump, they ask how high.

Tithe : they still rebuilding,so not much for now.

Tribute : Evas, including Uriel 02 capable of moving through dimensions,Mechs, bears and wolverines in powered armours, and sentient spiders and scorpions with lasers. If Kei and Rei tell them to serve.

Patronage: help for countries which are still shitty/Africa and South America/

Earth from John Ringo "Looking glass " series.
here;
