Crossover Sanguinus resurrected in Tamriel.

Tyzuris

Primarch to your glory& the glory of him on Earth!
Sanguinius wakes up from death with his armour and weaponry in Tamriel. He has all his skills, powers and memories intact.

A few scenarios:

1. He replaces the Nerevarine reborn.

2. He replaces the Champion of Cyrodiil.

3. He replaces the Dragonborn (assume he can absorb Dragon Souls).

Modifiers for previous scenarios:

He doesn't replace the main character, but appears in the time period of when said characters did their thing.

There're three things I'd like to point out:

1. His wings are bound to draw attention, especially since there're (as far as I know) no human-like with wings as an additional set of limbs.
2. His beauty. It's going to draw more attention on top of his already unusual wings.
3. His name. Sooner or later someone is going to notice he shares a very similiar name with one of the daedra, perhaps he will even get the attention from the god of all parties himself.

I conclude that some fools will try to worship him as some avatar of Sanguine (no relation). And that's where the fun begins, because when one daedra finds something fun to play with, EVERY daedra AND aedra is going to want a piece of him for their schemes and plans.

People might think he’s related to Morihaus, Alessia’s husband who may have been a ”Lesser Aedra” equivalent and ancestor of the Minotaurs, by virtue of said wings

That said, will he try doing the Imperial Truth on Tamriel? What about tolerance for nonhumans?

I think the Mer will be alarmed at his never ending lifespan(unless killed)

Mer would bear certain be considered at least abhuman. The beast folks maybe not as much.

Okay, that said anybody here familiar with Dresden Files? Making a thread about a What If? relating to it and Primarchs

I'm not sure if Sanguinus is the type to slaughter beastfolk on a whim. Like most of the loyalist primarchs, he's more likely to try and get a feel of the local situation before deciding to do anything. It's not like the sight of xenos drove most of the primarchs into a frothing rage.

I concur. One expects a Primarch to be capable of strategy when strategy is called for.

Are there any critters or monsters or NPC's from the Elder Scrolls setting who could even reasonably challenge Sanguinius in martial combat that isn't some weird random divinity or Daedra God thingamajig?

In gameplay not really. Even the dragons, for all their hype, are kinda weaksauce. This said, the Hagravens might be able to poison Sainguinus as a direct confrontation with a primarch is simply suicide. Attempting to outsmart or trick them is more likely to be successful. It's not much likely either, but it is more likely than winning a fight.

EDIT: But if Sanguinus angers some deity enough, then they might send someone like Pelinal. That's the thing: Only a doom-driven character might be reasonable able to fight a primarch on even footing.
