For those of you who don't know, Tiffanny Henyard is the mayor of Dolton Illinois a town situated just South of Chicago she has been accused of embezzlement, including using funds for high profile Vegas trips, hiring a 'security detail' of friends which has left the town in debt, she hired a convicted sex offender as a code enforcement officer and has used her position to retaliate against those who question her publicly, such as firing town employees who question her lavish spending or fining and causing other trouble for private individuals who refuse to support her.

Yesterday after one of her lieutenants was arrested on charges the FBI launched a series of subpoena's at the Dolton Mayor and her various employees giving hope that her time escaping the law may be over.

She's not even remotely subtle about it....

Seriously she's been so completely and utterly blatant with her corruption that it has every chance of being the thing that gets her section of the black community to vote republican. She's just....that god awful.

Its one of those things where the corruption is so completely blantant and she's pissed so many people off that going after her like this is the FBI trying to keep her dumb ass from being assasinated by one of the people in her town.

Corruption in the U.S. is usually limited to backroom deals and insider trading, even then it is usually kept in the shadows, people know it goes on but do nothing either because it doesn't help them or because finding the offenders is too difficult or the dealings were within loopholes the politicians made for themselves...

But that being the case Tifanny Henyard isn't any of the above, it's the kind of corruption so bold that both those who genuinely want justice and those smart about their corruption are forced to act, on the justice end its obvious why Henyard should be removed, on the other it's because if her corruption spreads it can result in a backlash big enough to have people looking into the wrong places and result in those corrupt in the shadow's either losing revenue or a means of acquiring it.

In short Henyard has ticked everyone off both good and bad.

None, she is just a mayor of a small town connected to Chicago I don't see her as being that important or in on many secrets' worth keeping her quiet over, she is guilty or rocking the boat and getting corrupion looked into more closely if she is allowed to continue, not directly threating to expose a bunch of the most powerful men on earth of criminal action.

The village board which is in opposition to Henyard actually hired Lightfoot for the low, low price of 400 dollars an hour to investigate the claims made against her if that is any indication that they believe her to be the lesser of evils...

But in general, for as bad as Lightfoot is, even I am forced to acknowledge that Henyard is more openly and personally corrupt even if her actions aren't as far reaching as Lightfoot's.
