Battle Order recently did a video on the Chinese Invasion of the Marianas Island Chain (Guam, Saipan, Tinian and Rota) by six PLA Special Forces Brigade in the early morning hours of a fateful April day in 2037.
It's actually pretty detailed and like his other videos, covers the specific units that were deployed to the 53rd State during the Chinese Hypersonic Airborne Assault. The Chinese deployed a Corps worth of troops to capture the islands and it was up to almost scratch units of US Marines, Marianas Island State Reserve-Guard Battalions and mixtures of other Army, Marine, Air Force and Naval Personnel to defend the islands from the unexpected assault utilizing hypersonic cargo glide vehicles that were unbeknownst outside of China, apparently capable of being used to deploy military personnel over the horizon.
Narratively it also focuses on the now famous "Colonel Spiderman" of the 3-294th Battalion, an Army-Guard Unit made up of Marianas Islanders and Colonel Thomas Jefferson Taijeron, an ethnic Chamorro who due to the surprise nature of the assault, had to lead the counterattack through the City of Hagatna and the strategically vital Wendy's fast food restaurant location.
Appparently this is part of a larger alternative/speculative military history project done by a bunch of nerds as Battle Order mentions Templin Institute has done a similar video and there is a website that it is all linked to as well.
