What If? What If Klingons arrive on Mandalore

In this scenario a Klingon Taskforce arrives in orbit of Mandalore 1 hour before Bo Katan and the rest of the Mandalorians enter the system. They scan the planet and detect materials that would benefit the Empire greatly. The Klingon Taskforce consists of......

1 Neghvar
20 Vorchas
30 K'Tingas
60 B'Rels

The Klingons also detect Moff Gideon's base and his ships and assets. Not wanting to share they open fire on Moff Gideon's base. Moff Gideon shocked at the fleet that just fired upon his forces sends out a distress call to the other members of the Shadow Council. As this onslaught is underway the Mandalorians arrive to see Moff Gideon's forces getting yeeted left and right in Atmospheric combat. What happens from this point forward? Will Bo and the Mandalorians join in with the Klingons in the attack or will they sit back and watch? Will help arrive to save Moff Gideon via other Imperial Warlords? What happens after after the shooting stops?

Special Note: The Leader of the Klingon Taskforce is Martok. He is willing to listen to dialog with people he deems honorable.

Personally I'd be curious to how the Klingons would react to the Mandalorian fighting style, their use of body armor and jetpacks, which is largely absent in the Klingon/ wider Trek battlefield. Would the Klingon's simply declare that the Mandos are without honor for fighting different than they do or would the augmented potenional appeal to the Klingon desire for personal glory and combat spurring a parallel development of flight jump capable suits with a resulting change of tactics?

It depends I can see some Klingons wanting to innovate while others will declare them Romulan Humans and use the Klingon version of Treknobabble to level the playing field.

Martok versus Gideon, and the Klingon's have much better cloaks than SW does generally...

So long as Bo and Din can keep any of their forces from firing on the Klingons, the groups are likely to become fast friends.

The Neghvar itself could probably go blow for blow with an Executor-class and survive, never mind some TIEs.

It's a good thing the Klingons brought the Birds of Prey and Negh'vari because a bunch of Klingons with Bat'leths and Disruptor Pistols versus a bunch of jetpack equipped, fully armored and kitted out MandoTroopers or whatever they are would be a very amusing battle to watch. :devilish:

For Trek it is Post Dominion War circa 2380.
Well, both sets of calcs now fluctuate between 'a single ship can glass a planet' and 'a tissue paper impacting the hull at sub-sound speed will make the whole ship break apart'.

Thanks. Now I can't get the image of MandoTroopers leaping up over the Klingons taking the fight into the air...only to smack into a cloaked BoP and come crashing back down. xD

See, recent Mandalore is a horrible one of a barley functional race.
Realistically, Mandalore as is, is not really a race, creed, or nation at the moment.

Now if the Klingons were to head a few sectors to the galactic south from Mandalore, they could find some...fun down in the Hapes Cluster.

Hapes+Mando's+Klingons equal a lot of chaos and destruction against the Empire.

Well, the Klingons could just teleport all of the Mandos into outer space/inside of the warp core or one of the cisterns of that weirdo, super-corrosive coolant Trek ships use.

The one that Picard or Data used do de-Borgify the E-E in in First Contact.

Nice way to get free beskar methinks.
