What if the Emperor destroyed the Chaos Gods?

Basically assuming that while being plugged into the Golden Throne while fighting the Chaos Gods in the Warp, the Emperor manages to get powerful enough to destroy all the four Chaos Gods. How will this affect the course of the Imperium?

And alternative scenarios:

Only one Chaos God is killed

Two killed.

Three killed.

I don’t think they’d go back to the Imperium anyway though, I mean they were already possibly gonna rebel or have problems due to the whole dumb mortals far off bureacracy of dudes on Terra wanting to unnecessarily tax planets

Current Imperium is even worse and I doubt they’d think those mortals should be left to control their own destiny

Aren't the Chaos gods merely sentient manifestations of different aspects of the psychic races in the warp? Thus we have despair in Nurgle, hope in Tzeentch, rage in Khorne and lust in Slaanesh.

If the Emperor kills them all then I suppose that over time, so long as the warp and psychic races still exist that these forces in the warp will build up until some day in the future when they reach critical mass and give birth or maybe re-birth to new Chaos gods of these aspects.
