The Hercules Method is a power or learned "talent" that in theory, anyone can do, in the Luther Strode series.

It grants the user the ability to control one's bodily functions

This makes it so that one can easily bulk up without intense exercise for prolonged periods of time, unleash 100% and past the human's body limiters, heal wounds, observe body movements and even prevent ageing for thousands of years

Also, people killing with it frequently can make them desensitised and view others as "meat" to have no regrets ripping apart

One thing I can say this' real good for, is the fact that now no one needs to go to the hospital or suffer from bodily failure and can live to see the next ASOIAF book even decades from now unless they are killed

Probably overpopulation as a slew of folks refuse to die. Also when do we gain this? As gaining it right now is far different then 250k years back.

Don’t we already have “overpopulation”? I think it only gets worse if you can’t feed, clothe, educate and house said population

And people from poor countries have so many kids because they don’t know how reproduction works, don’t have condoms, have kids in the hope they get work for them

Gain it at the start of 2020, after everybody sleeps even once, they wake up with the ability

There’s more than non-combat use for it

Look at Luther Strode, guy managed to overcome the insane bloodlust it was giving him, he was seeing people just as "meat" before that like the others

Well, if there’s one consolation

Things like starvation, disease, viruses and malnutrition are no longer among the leading causes of death and suffering

There will however be many Shounen Anime/Manga fights wherein people just know what internal organs and bones were broken and what other damage there is
