The problem with 2D women isn't that they make women feel bad. It's that they cause men to become the male equivalent of cat ladies.

The sexual puritanism of the Left strikes me as bizarre. I just don't understand it. I could understand if they were Christians who believed in sexual ethics based on marital norms. But they don't.

The difference is that Christian and most other religious philosophy is based on codified norms, while Leftist sexual puritanism is based on a framework.

Feminism and other leftist philosophies are all about giving their members a number of tools for interpreting sexism or any other "ism" you feel like talking about today. Because they are not codified, with a direct source of rules and reasoning, they allow for a myriad of answers to any one example, even to the point of contradiction.

Its not even a case that one exampled work might be sexist for one thing over the other. It might be sexist for the same exact thing, just interpreted by someone else differently.

Going forward on the idea with Feminism theory all you can have at best is influencers. The more you have the less coherent the theory becomes. With something like a religion all you can do is interpret the same source differently and that has limits.
