Let's put it this way: if the Prairies become American territories/states, I think a lot of Western conservatives (now freed of the need to filter themselves for an Eastern audience and the shadow of CINO leaders like O'Toole) would probably end up in the orbit of someone like Marco Rubio. Not so liberal that they could be classed as RINOs, ala Charlie Baker or Larry Hogan, but not exactly staunch MAGA types like DeSantis or Marjorie Taylor Greene either.

Of course I'm serious, you can read the links for yourself if you don't want to take my word for it. What on earth gave you the impression that I would joke about developments such as these?

Anyway, the (physical) crackdown is beginning today. Hopefully the recent snowfall further inconveniences the efforts of the regime's jackboots, now that they seem to have found a replacement for their replacement police chief who's willing to start cracking the protesters' skulls.



Conveniently, Trudeau's use of dictatorial powers has now also prevented the rest of Parliament from even debating & voting on whether he should have those powers in the first place. Confirmed by our very own Pravda.

There are plenty of people with spines. They will step up. They always do. But this isn't going to be a pleasant process. What allowed men like Treadeau to take power was that he kept his true face hidden. Well, now it's revealed. Canada was asleep for a very long time, same as most of the Western world. Now the people are waking up and taking action.

It might be when Castro Jr. casually accused the conservatives of siding with the people with Swastika flags and when the other side demanded an apology, he made two or three other banal statements about how the conservatives are bad for Canada and promptly left the building when a female, Jewish conservative demanded an apology. Not long after a female, Jewish liberal said it's important to think of what words people are using but Castro Jr. is a good boy and everyone should love him. Those last few words may be a joke as I stopped watching after she started running interference for Castro Jr.

Following in his biological father's footsteps shouldn't really come as a surprise though:

No, he wouldn't. I'm not sure what he'd do would be better. Different certainly. More in line with the oppression history teaches us. But this is all academic anyway. Dude isn't going to invade.

And there is still hope this situation can be rectified peacefully. You just gotta stay strong.
 
Apparently the House has convened after all once police "cleared" the situation.

To the surprise of no one NDP joins Liberals to agree to the Emergencies act.

Police has also asked that media "leave protests for their own safety" and as the protestors showed they have kids among them this was their response:



Look at the replies as well, gleefully comparing this to ISIS and talks of how the kids are gonna need therapy not realizing how much like tools they sound.
 
Ah yes, when MLK did it and dogs attacked kids it was a genius strategic move to get the media on side, when Parents bring Kids after they've been threatened with their removal it's "child soldiers" and w/e.

Well, of course, the media isn't going to be on the Trucker's side even if the government does go all brutal on them...

(Personally, I agree that MLK's move was smart... not kind, and I question the ethics of it, but it did achieve his goal so.)
