Yeah.

You see carefully curated videos culled from a vast amount of incidents and think its reality. Thats hyperreality.

The actual reality is that the Russians are dominating the artillery battle. Russia has the best artillery in the world and vast amounts of it. I do believe they are throwing something like a half million shells a day into the donbass.

Russia has a lot of artillery, but that doesn't make it the best. Just a lot of it. Sure, quantity has a quality of its own, but its not the only kind of quality, and in terms of the other kinds its not that great.

Best? No.
They have NOWHERE near the best. The Paladin is more modern then a vast majority of the stuff Russia has....the M777 is more advanced then the D30
The MLRS system may be the point you are right about, but still not best.
And yet we have seen them strike at dummies, underground positions, and be decimated in the counter battery from Ukraine
