Well, claims, considering the political climate involved into the conflict and the bias found in the UN in particular, mean nothing. They have already claimed the darnedest things often enough that i get bored of it. Where's the evidence?
If Israelis were going to go Mongol on Palestinians, Palestinians would not exist since ages.
If they mysteriously changed their minds now, i expect to see a major dip in Palestinian demographics before i take it as something more than propaganda.

Dude it’s PBS it’s controlled by your government. If you are going to simp for Americas government at least do it consistently. And if you think America is lying about the number then provide your own.
The US has a stupid contradictory policy towards Israel and Palestine giving aid to both sides in the war. I think that’s bad as that keeps the fighting going longer and more people die. I’d prefer not helping either but I can tolerate giving aid to one Israel is the better choice to end it quickly and definitely.

PBS, despite it's name and some of its funding, is not controlled by the US government. PBS also has a long, LONG history of bias against Israel in reporting on the conflicts in the region while whitewashing Palestinian actions. Bear in mind, when it comes to Israel this is one of the few areas where the "Deep State" is actually pretty severely divided, with many politicians and military/intel types (IE actual elected politicians, the Pentagon, and the Intel agencies) favoring Israel while the Academic / diplomacy types (State department, NGOs, and everyone else) favor Palestine. PBS, and most of the US news media, fall into the Academic type circles and thus tend to favor Palestine in their coverage and demonize Israel.

He I Wikipedia it and you are right. I thought PBS was the American BBC. So it was a corporation owned by the government but nope apparently it’s a private entity. The more you know. It probably should be nationalized though.
