the T-14 armata

I wonder how it holds up to other Main battle Tanks.

It's an interesting design, but I concur, I'm more interested in how it will actually hold up in the field compared to other comparable designs. The Russians say one thing, but if history proves anything the reality tends to be a bit different...

Given Russia/USSR has a tendency to be ahead of the curve in tanks as a general rule...

As I stated before, the Soviets/Russians do get some very interesting ideas. Their execution of said ideas on the other hand, a bit of a mixed record at best.

Thread (and forum) needs a bumping. I think this technically counts.

I mean technically the STUG is an Assault Gun but still an armored vehicle right? :sneaky:
Why can't Tankery be real?😭

I want my wife to be a tank-wife, who knows the difference between HEAT and HESH, or how to do a hull-down ambush, or how to debate whether the Tiger or Panther was a better tank.

Is that too much to ask?

The proper debate is how the Sherman was not a horrible tank!

And you are looking at her, but do not fret! There are plenty out there!
