They're not bad, but it takes a certain type of person to deal with the lack of sun for so much of the year and isolation.
Though I dare the protestors to go mess with any of the statues or memorials in AK. They'd learn the hard way that the Far North has a way of...weeding out their type...
It might start looking a lot nicer, politically and socially, than many parts of the Lower 48 soon.
Though with oil being so cheap, and no tourists because of the virus, the economy is kinda nosediving right now.
Alaska could use some more people and money moving into the state, and they don't have a lot of issues the Lower 48 does.
Or people could move to Texas to help keep it Red.
