One needs to look at the West and see that it has massive problems coming from self-hatred and white guilt. Turkey seems to be going the route of wanting to avoid all this. What benefit does Turkey get from agreeing that it was a genocide is how they see things. The answer is nothing. It will become a source of crying for reparations and demands for this action and that action to rectify it along with possibilities of leftists now trying to guilt you into self-annihilation.

Exactly what we are seeing right now. The strong have become weak and is being torn from the inside as people cry about this and that while themselves planning to do those very acts against you.

Who said anything about kneeling, I am not destroying my culture, nor am I abiding those who do, but there is a difference between defending the culture and never admitting a mistake, the problem was prior generations assumed you could just name and shame communists and they would go away.

As soon as you admit mistake or express guilt. They have you. Thats what they want. They now have a crack that they can squeeze in and start deconstructing and shaming your culture, your ancestors, your way of life. Everything. Thats what they do.

Hell, they apply this shit to men in general. With shaming men for how they sit.

Stronger people in their Faith than me have lived their lives by these principles and were blessed for it. The World is the World. We of Faith are called to be better than the World.

I absolutely agree that one should never cede an inch to them.

They rely on your sense of fair play and conscientiousness.

They rely on bombarding you with the supposed actions-“Columbus enslaved Indians”, “the confederacy was built on slavery”, “America was built on slavery”.

This is designed to appeal to people’s moral sensibilities.

If you oppose them-you are associated with defending slavery. Or whatever.

There is also an element of implied lack of authenticity.

I’ve noticed the media will use quotation marks when speaking of counter demonstrators-often putting “protect” or “defend” in quotation marks.

This is designed to give readers the impression that those defending heritage do not have that as their real aim, but is merely a pretext. Wherein BLM and Antifa protesters protesting racism or whatever-do not have their causes sincerity implicitly questioned.

Just recently there was an outbreak of minor violence in NM-a statue of a conquistador was being attacked and a militia dude shot somebody in what appears to be self defense. He was arrested alongside his comrades. The mayor and governor of course condemned them for “division” and “vigilantism”.

The aim here is to demoralize opposition.

These accusations rely on guilty until proven innocent, they say you are all these things because of your birth and you have to prove you are not by fulfilling the conditions of the accuser. Go take a look on SB and elsewhere to see how common this tactic is.
But of course that isn't how a free nation works, we are innocent until proven guilty. If I am racist prove it. If I am a fascist prove it. Obviously they can't which is why they need to drown your words or destroy history so only their voice exists.

From what I can see it is the cornerstone tactic of political debate, make you prove to them you aren't what they yell you are. Immediately puts someone on the defensive and makes it personal. It isn't hard to fight against but because it upsets most people it becomes hard to make a cohesive swift reply. Very devious.

Um dude outside of lefty areas. No one talks about privilege. Don't let internet culture and the media color you view of the country as a whole. You talk to the average Blue Collar hard working Black or Hispanic guy and you won't hear those talking points come up at all in your conversations. Like I said in earlier threads the more time people spend off the internet and out in areas with just regular working people. The more they will see the echo chamber for what it is.

That's not an option for all of us. My family is certainly thinking about moving, but there are currently things that prevent it. I am currently working on my degree at a local college, and I need the in state tuition. I also have a very elderly grandmother who cannot be moved and must be cared for. For anything short of civil war, we must stay in our blue state.

We're certainly planning to get a gun. As for the college, I'm already halfway to the degree it can't be transferred. If things really start to fall apart we'll do what we have to, but for now the plan is to see how the election turns out.

Fuck that. I am not American, but I do live in a lefty area. I am not moving. Retreatism is what got us in this mess to begin with. I have purged the idiots from my life. I am a part of a network of friends and like minded people. We help each other. We are the worm in the apple.
