I feel empathy for people who have gender dysphoria -- actual gender dysphoria -- and transition as a result; more power to those people. Being born in the wrong body must be terrible, and they have my empathy. But the more I see and read of 99% of transgender people in the last decade or two...

Ah, that's sort of a tell as to what happened. I feel empathy for them because the next decade or two is going to suck for them, once realization sets in. :(
